In December 1902 during the construction of the first subway, contracts were awarded to four car builders, Jewett-100, Wason-100, John Stephenson Car Company-200, and 200 more from this builder.

These four car builders guaranteed that the cars would be ready for the opening of the subway in 1904.

In 1903 a measure was drafted, that was designed to correct the monopolistic tendencies of the Rapid Transit Act of 1894 and prevent a single corporation from ever dominating rapid transit again.

What was the name of this bill and what organization drafted it?

what is the power output of the traction motors of the R110B?

of the R142?

whoever gets both right (or closest) in one post wins!

ps, for the R142, i'm only taking exact answers, so you can do a little research, but for the R110B, must guess;)

good luck...

R-110B AC Traction choppers. Battery powered operation. Powered from the 3rd rail is to charge the batteries and then converted to AC.

R-142 600 VDC, AC Traction, 150 HP

wrong, but close for the R142 (power output)

you didn't give me an output for the R110B (hp wise) might as well give me the specs for that too.:P
