Maserati7200 Posted April 13, 2009 Share #29 Posted April 13, 2009 I know English and Hebrew fluently. I can read Spanish and can understand it well enough to get the gist of what someone is saying and I can write in Spanish. I know a lot of Arabic words and can even understand sentences spoken to me and make my own sentences (by speaking). I cannot read Arabic though. Forest Glen Posted April 14, 2009 Share #33 Posted April 14, 2009 I obviously know english. I knew enough Spanish to pass the Spanish Regents. I know basic phrases like Que Pasa, Como Estas, and Que Hora Es. However, I couldn't carry on a real conversation with a native spanish speaker. CenSin Posted December 30, 2009 Share #37 Posted December 30, 2009 I can't say I'm fluent in any language other than English, but I'm sort of an amateur linguist with a good knowledge of phonology in Korean, Japanese, and Cantonese (in that order). Infamous85 Posted December 31, 2009 Share #47 Posted December 31, 2009 I know English & some Spanish. When someone is speaking to me in Spanish I only understand half of what they're saying, I also have some trouble putting some sentences together, also its tough to remember a lot of the words. I can't speak with various English dialects including proper English, Ebonics, Southern U.S. (various dialects), New York/Jersey (various dialects), British, etc. I'm learning California, Mexican, & Rural PA.
