Luis1985 Posted May 25, 2010 Share #1 Posted May 25, 2010 This Map includes all of the changes taking effect on June 27th, 2010: - service is eliminated between Forest Hills-71 Av/Continental Av, Queens and Long Island City-Court Sq, Queens. -(M2) service is eliminated between Lower East Side-Essex St/Delancey St, Manhattan and Bensonhurst-Bay Parkway, Brooklyn. - new service is extended between Lower East Side-Essex St/Delancey St, Manhattan and Forest Hills-71 Av/Continental Av, Queens on weekdays. All other times, trains will run between Middle Village-Metropolitan Av, Queens and Myrtle Av-Broadway, Brooklyn. - express service in Manhattan is eliminated. All service will run via Broadway Local north of Canal St at all times except late nights. Late Night service via the line will continue. - service is extended to Ditmars Blvd-Astoria, Queens to replace the and stopping at 49 St on weekdays only. All other times, trains will skip 49 St and terminate at Midtown-57 St/7 Av, Manhattan - service is eliminated and is replaced by the new train. - service is eliminated and is replaced by the extended train. _______________________________________________________________ Map also includes the station reconstruction service changes: All trains will bypass Whitlock Av and Morrison-Soundview Avs station due to station rehabilitation. Far Rockaway-bound trains skip Beach 60 St and Beach 36 St due to station rehabilitation. Rockaway Park-bound trains skip Beach 90 St due to station rehabilitation. All ( trains run local in Brooklyn between Prospect Park and Sheepshead Bay due to station rehabilitation. ( trains: -Manhattan-bound trains skip Neck Rd and Avenue U. -Brighton Beach-bound and Coney Island-bound trains skip Avenue H and Avenue M. Both for station rehabilitation. Before the public comment, they want to make either or local and Local North of Canal St via Manhattan Bridge at all times. Did they change after public comment to keep or express? The Queens Blvd on Weekends will be the same , just the will run as a Shuttle along Myrtle EL. I didnt hear anything about the or via Local. If it were to go Local most likely the would do Local.
