Just wondering why they never did the overhaul on the R10s? They were supposed to get an R42 type front installed and get new shiny interior but car 3192 (the first one to get overhauled) never entered service and it was scrapped April 1980

The R10s were mad old at the time, outlasting some younger cars like the R16s. Surprised some even got overhauled. The last of them retired in the late 1980's.

That car was a test to see if it would work out. That car never left the shops and was scrapped soon after

They need to find a way to make the (A) come more frequent but with the way the merging set up with the (C) and then uptown with the (D) i know it cant come every 2-5 minutes but theres times when i wait for it at broadway juncion or nostrand and the (C) comes and once its almost reach hoyt it magically shows up to pass

and the (C) frequency is bad running 8-10 mins wkdays

I agree! The C had bad headways. It needs to be more frequent, especially on weekends.
