The people on the platform had to be in shock and not the four injured as its not pretty..  I saw about 30 years ago a person commit what they ruled suicide by jumping in front of an Erie Lackawanna express train as it was roaring thru the station and the parts of the body were spread for about 1/2 mile on the tracks.  The body explodes on impact.
