So I think I figured out why people thought 602 was retired and at ZEREGA.

There IS a second 602, but it’s operated by a transit company under the name NEX-GEN Bus. Turns out they have three of them as well as another one on the way and renumbered them, so the number range is #601-604. I saw bus #601 yesterday leaving MetLife as a 352 bus.

I’m happy they’re still in private/public service.

Until Further Notice

Route 15 will not make any stops between Route 118/Underhill Ave and Route 100/Travelers Rest in both directions due to Road Reconstruction on Route 118. Buses will utilize the Taconic State Pkwy in both directions, and may be subject to delay's.

This should end this week and the road should be reopened around November 14.

Yesterday, #610 ran the BxM4C during the Morning Rush Hour. This is the first time, at least to my knowledge, that Bee-Line has run a 40-Foot Rear Door Orion V into Midtown. Video taken by Luis Zeferino.

They have run a 30-Footer and an XDE40 on this route as well.

Reminds me of when Stengel still had Orion Vs back in 2015 (or when Amsterdam had Vs).

The 600 series Orion V's have been retired, with 605 being the last bus running on the 63G.

The end of an era for 40-Foot Orion Vs with Rear Doors in the Bronx as well, that dates back to 1993 (including MTA's units).

It's incredible how much Bee-Line's Fleet transitioned between January and now.
