Here are the lists that are currently active:

Exam # 2611 - Established 7/20/2022 - Expires 7/20/2026 - consists of 837 candidates

Exam # 2612 - Established 2/22/2023 - Expires 2/22/2027 - consists of 423 candidates

Exam # 2613 - Established 4/19/2023 - Expires 4/19/2017 - consists of 299 candidates

Exam # 2614 - Established 7/12/2023 - Expires 7/12/2027 - consists of 396 candidates

Exam # 3600 - Cancelled

Exam # 3601 - Established 11/15/2023 - Expires 11/15/2027 - consists of 878 candidates

In the event you need it, here is the updated Notice of Examination. Just note that page five comes after page eight of the PDF document.

If you wish to find out your list number, click here and type either your last name or the exam number into the search box located on the top right hand side of the screen.

Next, if you need help getting your Class B Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP), I would encourage you to check out cristcdl.com. Remember, the multiple-choice exams that you need to take and pass, at minimum, are General Knowledge, Air Brakes and Passenger Endorsement. If you would like and/or need more information into obtaining your Commercial Driver's License (CDL), click here.

When you are ready to go to the Department of Motor Vehicles, click here to make a reservation for yourself.

The Proposed Answer Keys for Exams 2611, 2612, 2613, 2614 and 3601 can be viewed on this webpage.

For those of you who wish to restore your name to the list, you must do so by sending an e-mail to certificationunit@dcas.nyc.gov. In your e-mail, state your full name, exam number, list number, the last four of your social security number, and a brief reason why you're restoring your name to the list. You do not have to go into full detail in the e-mail.

Andy here! So I'm doing the X-Crossover to the T/A side only got 7 moths on O/A Got called to do the 1st day drug test. 

I got my reasons to do the X-Crossover let's just say - previous "Civil Service" job-.

With that said I went this month for day 1 on the 15th still waiting for day 2, and I can say this - is not like people "on the job" have priority or preference - at the MAC

now for those who are still waiting to be called here are some tips. 

1) Clean Driving record - pay all tickets or violations asap and no more than 4 points on your record 

2) Covid Vaccine - they will not respect your "Religious Accommodations" period P-E-R-I-O-D. You're wasting your time! get vaccinated. 

3) If your Overweight, and you snore! get that Sleep Apnea Check ASAP. You can pass everything else on your Physical, and you can say "I don't snore", your weight is a giveaway -BMI - for sleep apnea study, and they will want something by your doctor. it could take 6 months for a sleep apnea study.  

4) Make sure you got your Social, US Passport, CDL up to date. bring original not copy.  DO NOT BRING A COPY ! ...NEXT!!!

5) Go EARLY! you will Spend all day here. but at least you will walk out while there is daylight. EXTRA EARLY!!!

6) Bring Water... Drug Test. -_- You can't hold it all day... LOL

Do you still have to attend a class even though you're a bus operator already?

You still have to go through the medical again and attend the day 0 class at Zerega.

I’m hearing Queens and Staten Island. It’s not a rumor. Staten Island is short and they are trying to beef up operators.

Don't worry no need to panic. Make sure you dr writes letter indicate that you don't have sleep apnea and you can drive NYCT Bus without any restrictions. Once determined that you are back with next class. If you do have might set back 3 to 6 months.

Well unfortunately this a hole wants me to see a specialist and everybody I called today booked up for months. Messed up cause the blood and sweat I put into studying for this exam and my cdl permit seems like waste now.

This job alots of up and downs. Nothing wasted. I don't know which borough you live I have dr in staten island which I did go.
