Had to go on; For the last time

Recommended Posts

I waited 10 minutes at Chambers St, when it came in going out to Lefferts. I rode it to Lefferts, took an R44 to 111 St, then back on the same set to West 4 St. Between Utica and Hoyt-Schermerhorn, I witnessed another slant set headed back out to Lefferts or the Rockaways..........

I saw you at Lefferts, I believe.

I chose to photograph the train at 104th instead of 111th. Later in the day, I also rode it from Broadway Junction to Hoyt-Schermerhorn (but I wasn't even looking for it, it just showed up.)

Nice pics. Especially the Slants. Although I can't understand why all of those Slants look so dirty from the front. And that T/O looks like he's trying to hide... DESPERATELY, hahaha!;)

NIce shots, I got my last ride today too. I rode from Euclid Ave. to Chambers St. There was now way is was going to stand at that window stooped over cause I am way too tall for that window (6'3") all the way to 207th Street. I'll be sad when the R40M and R42 are gone.

Lol...I rode from West Fourth to 207th and back to Utica. I got on West 4th at 6:30, arrived at 207th at 7 and Utica at 8.
