R62A 1991 Posted September 14, 2009 Share #53 Posted September 14, 2009 #6: I would be very happy, because that would definitely mean that the Livonia stations would get the renovations and complete overhaul that they deserve. I wouldn't mind not having my home line for that period of time if the outcome were to be beneficial.
7LineFan Posted September 14, 2009 Share #54 Posted September 14, 2009 I was referring to the fact that GE made propulsion systems and motors. If only the R32-R42 and R46-R62 utilized Westinghouse Propulsion systems with Westinghouse motors. I was referring to rr4567's comment that the R32 would have been made by Pullman instead. KTrainExp Posted January 27, 2010 Share #58 Posted January 27, 2010 WHAT IF the express still ran No one would take it. At least not with all of these timers running up and down the line. Plus, there would be no place to terminate it.
EE Broadway Local Posted January 27, 2010 Share #59 Posted January 27, 2010 The still runs, though it officially is the Rockaway Park Shuttle. Before 1979, the had a red bullet.

Grand Concourse Posted January 28, 2010 Share #61 Posted January 28, 2010 It'll be pre-1995 service again before the accident on the Williamsburg bridge. I do agree they have killed the system by putting in so many timers.
