There's a chance they might actually be transfers since Grand Avenue has been pushing out their 2009 Hybrids.

What are with all these NG Hybrid swaps around the city? Mileage?

East New York loses 3983 and acquires 3977, 4440, 4513, 4519, 4559, 4568-4569

Fresh Pond loses 3977 & 3996 and acquires 3983 & 4070...

Grand Avenue loses 4440, 4513, 4519, 4559, 4568-4569 and acquires 4695 & 4700...

Queens Village loses 3965, 4695, & 4700 and acquires 4513 & 4519.

On a separate note, 3977 still has Fresh Pond decals and 4440, 4568-4569 still has Grand Avenue decals (unsure about 4559).

4440, 4559, 4568, 4569 all returned back to Grand Avenue as of this morning after being on loaned to East New York depot.
