That seems like a good idea, we could also send it to Inwood or Riverdale (via Inwood)

Heck, maybe even propose it to the MTA if you so desire.

Should we have a supplemental shorter version of the Bx19 from West Farms Road to Riverbank Park and have the Bx19 from West Farms Road to Gun Hill Road via Webster Avenue, just for the rush hours.(out of rush hours the Bx19 can be normal) Because during peak morning rush hours, N/B Bx19 buses are quite meager compared to S/B buses and that can make me late for school. So, to the other Bx19 commuters should the MTA do this. And if we support it I will show a bus proposal.

Start off from 132nd St & Walnut Ave to Scarsdale

Walnut from term to 138th St

138th from Walnut to Willis Ave

Willis from 138-149th LTD

3rd Av to 188th St LTD 

Fordham from 3rd to Sedgwick Ave (old Bx24 routing) 

follows the old Bx24 routing up to 240th St & Bway

on Bway to Getty Sq LTD in NYC then open door to S Bway & Yonkers Ave 

right on Yonkers to Central Ave open door 

turn left on Central Ave up to Scarsdale RR, closed door except when making a transfer point to Central Park Mall. 
 

bus service will be frequent: 5-9-5-20-40 (wkdys) 

8-10-8-30-40 (wknds)

This kinda is "creating a bus route" so imma showcase a route change that I made. 

Q43 +SBS+: 5AM-10:45PM, running between Jamaica LIRR and Floral Park.

Stops will be:

Jamaica LIRR

Hillside Avenue and Supthin Boulevard

150th Street

153rd Street

165th Street

Parsons Boulevard

169th Street

179th Street

188th Street

Francis Lewis Boulevard

212th Street

Springfield Boulevard

Winchester Boulevard

Commonwealth Boulevard

Little Neck Parkway

268th Street

 

Runtime: 22.5

Buses needed: 20 (including 5 spares)

 

Buses will run on a consistent 7 minute headway during rush hours, 12 minutes on non-rush hours.

 

Other Q43s will run between Jamaica LIRR and 179th Street, then via the Limited (reduced) to Springfield Boulevard, then local to 268th Street.

 

Hillside Avenue between Queens Boulevard and Braddock Avenue will receive two bus lanes (closest to curb), and they'll have bus barriers. To add, bus queue jumps will be implemented, further increasing operating speed.

  3. Is this a (NYCT) route or an (MTA)Bus route?
  4. Is this an express or local route?
  5. Is it based in Queens or Bronx?

1: your line goes to Jackson Heights. The QBx2 to LGA was what I said. That would have ridership

2: no, it needs to get on in Tremont, latest. It would be extremely slow if it got on only in Mott Haven

3: then it needs to be express. there are no MTAB local depots except eastchester, which is far from this line.

So, Cut the QBx2A. The QBx2B could run with Kingsbridge buses, but only Nova LFSs, as the NGs and LFSAs can't be on the highway for that long.

Maybe make a map on google my maps to better explain your route?

@danig1220 The QBx2A is pretty out there, and I'm not sure the streets make sense. If you're trying to do 74 St to Jamaica as a limited that's still a long haul. It's 15 mins as a Limited from 74 St/Bway to Woodhaven and QBL, then another 20 to Sutphin/Archer and 10-15 more to 179 St. If it's a limited *maybe* you get that runtime down to 45 minutes; on top of that figure in another 45 mins from Sedgwick/Tremont to 263 St, and your route is an hour and a half end-to-end with another 20-40 minutes of highway running in the middle. The demand won't be there for it and it's gonna eat up a ton of buses to try to provide reasonable frequency.

The QBx2B still has runtime issues, but would potentially be doable if you run nonstop from LGA to Fordham/Sedgwick.

The thing that I'd like to see for a Bronx-LaGuardia connection would be to bring back the Bx55 and extend it to LGA on the south end and Norwood-205 St on the north end via Gun Hill Rd and Bainbridge Av. Buses would stop at: 205 St/Bainbridge Av (first stop), Van Cortlandt Pk E/Bainbridge Av, Gunhill Rd/Bainbridge Av, Gunhill Rd/Webster Av, Bedford Park Bl/Webster Av, Fordham Plaza, 183 St/3 Av, 180 St/3 Av, Tremont Av/3 Av, Claremont Pkwy/3 Av, 168 St/3 Av, 163 St/3 Av,  156 St/3 Av, 149 St/3 Av, 138 St/Lincoln Av, 31 St/Astoria Bl, Steinway St/Astoria Bl, 77 St/Astoria Bl, 82 St/Astoria Bl,  87 St (SB only), 94 St (SB only), Terminal D, Terminal C, Terminal B and Terminal A.

Overall runtime would be a bit long; based off existing schedules I'd guess 15 mins from 205 St to Williamsbridge, 15 from Williamsbridge to Fordham Plaza, 40 from Fordham Plaza to Mott Haven, and then 35 from Mott Haven to the airport, bringing total runtime to about 100-120 minutes; that would put it in the same general ballpark as the Q44 and the old M5 as far as length goes. Providing service every 10 mins as a replacement for the Bx15 LTD requires about 30-35 buses, which is quite a lot. My first thought would be to split it between KB and CS and have rush hour put-ins and short-turns at Fordham Plaza as needed. 

Basically at that point the 3 Av corridor would have all-day limited-stop service to Queens, hopefully all-day limited-stop service to Manhattan as well, and then local service internally. I'd set headways on the Bx15LTD service and the Bx55LTD service to 10mins peak and then have the Bx15 local run every 6-8 minutes, then give 3 Av the full bus lane treatment to keep reliability up.
