MHV9218 Posted January 4, 2014 Share #10526 Posted January 4, 2014 Looks like every artic route that went 40-feet yesterday is back to normal, save for the Bx15 and the M60. The 15's mostly 40s with a few artics, and the 60s has a couple RTSes and NGs out there.

Turbo19 Posted January 4, 2014 Share #10528 Posted January 4, 2014 (edited) Our buses would look better with black rims. Los Angeles has been using them as of late and while they're alright I do prefer the standard Alcoas. Calvin Posted January 4, 2014 Share #10530 Posted January 4, 2014 since tmrw is the new pick, is it true that Charleston is opening full time so, lines like the X17, S74 and 78 wont need to be split?
Turbo19 Posted January 4, 2014 Share #10531 Posted January 4, 2014 Just feel that it would give them a more tougher look. I get what you're saying, it'd be killer if they brought back the old scheme with the black as well. since tmrw is the new pick, is it true that Charleston is opening full time so, lines like the X17, S74 and 78 wont need to be split? That is true.

Turbo19 Posted January 4, 2014 Share #10533 Posted January 4, 2014 Charleston is opening up on weekends again? Why? That I can not confirm, but it's safe to assume that it's in regard to fleet in some form. Perhaps someones else will have immediate details at your disposal.

Blitz Posted January 5, 2014 Share #10535 Posted January 5, 2014 Our buses would look better with black rims.We use white wheels because it makes it easier to spot damage (cracks, excess rust, elongated stud holes etc...)

Missabassie Posted January 5, 2014 Share #10537 Posted January 5, 2014 This new livery (white back, white doors) is hideous and incoherent. Sent from my SGH-T889 using Tapatalk

I live a half a block away from the Q64 so I was able to see it. Why would they run a depot weekdays only anyway especially when Yukon is not doing so good? S78 via Hylan Posted January 5, 2014 Share #10543 Posted January 5, 2014 Why would they run a depot weekdays only anyway especially when Yukon is not doing so good? They thought they could "save" money by closing it on weekends, but soon realized it didn't work like they thought especially when Yukon had to borrow some of CH's NGs on some weekends or use MCI's/Prevosts for local service.

peacemak3r Posted January 5, 2014 Share #10546 Posted January 5, 2014 No. You still need a ticket. Wouldn't it work though? Like if I got off a local B44 at Kings Highway and when buying the ticket, won't it say 'Free Transfer' on the machine? Or will it really charge me again. Same goes for vice versa when going from a SBS to a local?
NYSubwayBuff Posted January 5, 2014 Share #10547 Posted January 5, 2014 Idk that's why i asked because yesterday I transferred from an sbs to a local and I got charged two times. I wrote to the MTA because I assumed you do get a transfer but now im not sure Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk

NewFlyer 230 Posted January 5, 2014 Share #10549 Posted January 5, 2014 Yukon really needs to get better I feel as if they are worst than LGA. I've been on 3 Orion V's that broke down and they came from Yukon. They are just overwhelmed with routes just like LGA and they even had to use MCI's on there local routes. I have never heard of any transit operator putting express buses on there local routes because they were short or there buses were being fixed.
bobtehpanda Posted January 5, 2014 Share #10550 Posted January 5, 2014 How feasible would something like http://images.travelpod.com/tw_slides/ta00/af8/e32/pak-tam-chung-bus-stop-hong-kong.jpg be on a city sidewalk? It's a bus stop with a railing to divide people into separate lines for whatever buses are coming; there aren't really any good pictures of this, and this is the best I could find.
