To add to this: just rumors for now, but what I heard is that 6205 will be going to Salem County Transit, 6200-6204, will be going to Egg Harbor, 6189+ will be going to Orange/Hilton. Higher ONE Bus 60xx to Meadowlands.

I saw 6046, 6047, 6049, and 6050 at Meadowlands. I heard 6197-6200 are at Washington Township? I still don't get why Salem County Transit got 6205 instead of 6189 .-.

6205 is in service at Salem County Transit, it was tracking on the 468 today. 6201-6204 I haven’t seen at eht and that my assigned garage. I’ll check Friday when I go back. 6197-6200 will go to Washington Twp.

I thought NJT buses are programed to have every route code in the bus no matter the company?

Nope. Private lines does not work on any njt bus. However on the hybrids 4008-4044 all lines including private lines work.

Strange. I always thought the NABIs in NJ Colors (6007-6205) were programed to have NJT lines too. Ik the Olympia Trails, Broadway, and A&C buses have completely different codes.

6197-6200 are not operating out of Washington Twp as of yet.  Strange that they're getting these buses in the first place at a NABI suburban garage.  But any help is needed as lots of 5300s have been running daily on MCI routes (401, 402, 406, 408, 410, 412, 551 and 554) due to bus shortages and the fact that Washington Twp is sharing the 316 with Newton Avenue.   It has become a usual occurrence to see Newton Avenue buses daily helping Turnersville routes both on the NABI and MCI side.

Also on the flip side, 18128 appears to have been returned to Newton Avenue from EHT.  18128 is currently on the 418 after going to Trenton as a 409.

I also haven't seen 6201-6204 out too. Likely 6197-6204 are getting bike racks installed first If im not wrong (if those buses haven't got bike racks yet). And yeah Washington Twp needs more NABIs.

6201 and 6202 have reported for duty and they're already running in the Atlantic City area.  I haven't seen 6203 or 6204 yet.  I forgot a lot of buses from North Jersey do not have bike racks.  But yes they need those buses in Washington Twp.  There was a 5900 on the 400 yesterday and a 5500 on the 403 today.  Those four buses will definitely help.

Looking at trackers, 6203 was out yesterday. 6204 somehow tracked on the 25 on July 7 but hasn't really tracked since. Kinda wished 6205 was also at Egg Harbor I'm not sure why it went to Salem County Transit. 6189-6192 are now active for Orange, but haven't seen 6051-6056 & 6193-6200 running yet.

6203-6204 needs work give it a few days. They are sitting in lane 16. 6202 needs a bike rack, but they still ran it.

Meadowlands wants the artics on the 119 now. Those ppl deserve them. The crowds have seemed less with all them artics out there. 126 runs frequently enough to where you don’t need them imo

Doesnt a 126 come every 2 minutes?

Also how does the 123 turn around in Jersey city?

Jefferson - Baldwin - Beacon - (back to) Palisade....

That actually brings up an interesting point, I’ve noticed on the tracker that the last northbound 84’s after 11 PM to via Baldwin and bypass all of that section between Journal Sq & Christ Hospital.

Why is NJT not taking back some of the MCI’s from Coach USA and giving it to another private company or garage? There’s close to 30 MCI’s in the overflow lot at Suburban Transit.

That’s a question for NJT private carrier department. This would help the shortage at EHT and Washington Twp.
