Joe Posted February 4, 2012 Share #2 Posted February 4, 2012 There's nothing more elitist than waiting in a station that smells like piss for a train that smells like homeless dudes.
Orion VII 4 Life Posted February 4, 2012 Share #3 Posted February 4, 2012 Is this guy for real? Go in front of a luxury high rise anywhere in NYC and I guarantee he'll see a ton of Lincoln Towncar livery cabs. I just lost a lot of respect for him, not like I ever really had any since I'm a huge Ron Paul fan.

lilbluefoxie Posted February 4, 2012 Share #5 Posted February 4, 2012 so wheres the whole quote? to me it sounds like it can go either way, he could be referring to the high rise projects too from just that snippet.
Grand Concourse Posted February 4, 2012 Share #6 Posted February 4, 2012 Not surprising, of course the op posted this because a GOP said it. God forbid a democrat did the same... And before anyone says it, I do not support Newt and don't want him to win. He's a fat, mean, vindictive blowhard.
Fan Railer Posted February 4, 2012 Share #7 Posted February 4, 2012 Well, his "idea" to reintroduce child labor is quite something =P Newt Cash Money - YouTube Before he says this, he mentions that NY pays their janitors an exorbitant salary..... whether this is true, I doubt it, as I believe the 38,000 they make in the city isn't nearly as much as the 80k that senior janitors make in my district. SouthernRailway Posted February 14, 2012 Share #22 Posted February 14, 2012 Do you actually think a Democrat would do the same? Honestly, I'm asking you. It would completely contradict party values and offend one of the major states for liberal candidates. This is a Republican trying to pander to Republican voters by bashing the east coast. Yes. Obama sneered at blue-collar people who "cling" to guns and religion. Aren't (or weren't) blue-collar people one of the core Democratic groups, at least until recently? And weren't wealthy people- like the elites who Newt attacked- the GOP base, at least until recently?
