Due to a rail condition at High St, the following changes are in effect:

Northbound a.png and c.png trains are running on the f.png line from Jay St-MetroTech to W 4 St-Wash Square.

Northbound f.png trains are running on the g.png line from Bergen St to Queens Plaza.

Some northbound f.png trains will terminate at Chambers St.

Northbound m.png trains will terminate at Chambers St.

Allow additional travel time.

One of those service changes doesn't exactly work without some reversing.

Northbound (F) to Chambers Street right through the rail condition? Maybe they meant southbound?

Due to switch problems at 59 St-Columbus Circle, the following service changes are in effect:

Southbound c.png trains are running express from 145 St to Canal St.

Southbound d.png trains are local from 145 St to 59 St-Columbus Circle.

b.png train service has resumed with residual delays.

a.pngc.png and d.png trains are running with delays in both directions.

Allow additional travel time.

I guess the express track switch is stuck in the 8th Avenue direction.

(D) train at Coney Island on track 6 ( (F) platform) right now! I saw it pulling in as I was pulling in to track 8 on the West End (D). It was the first (D) train going through Grand Street since the incident started.

Wait but why would it run via Culver?

Due to track debris at 14 St, the following service changes are in effect:

Southbound 1.png trains are running express from 14 St to Chambers St.

Some southbound 2.png trains are running on the 5.png line from 149 St-Grand Concourse to Nevins St.

(2)(4)(5)(6) via Lexington Avenue Express? That's a lot of trains.

In order for a (B) or (D) to reach Grand St (and thus the bridge and Brighton/West End lines) it MUST arrive on tk B3 (the southbound express on the lower level) at W4. If it gets rerouted down 8 Av, that train CAN NOT access B3 at all, and will either get turned at 2 Av, or continue via the Culver line (through either Cranberry or Rutgers) to Coney Island. Futhermore, if a (B) or (D) gets rerouted down the 8 Av express, it can't even get to Broadway-Lafayette and MUST continue on to either Canal St (where it can be turned back north on the spur track) or through the tube to Jay St where it can be put on the Culver line. If it's a (B) train, it will likely drop out at Ave X and then run lite through the yard in order to get to tks 1-4 at Coney Island so it can get back to Brighton Beach. (D) trains can just arrive on 5 or 6 at Coney and then do their next N/B trip from there by going out the back.

So Avenue X can be reached by trains at Coney Island through the yard in either direction without reversing? There's another idea now… express from Kings Highway or Avenue X via the yard tracks.

Well I know that there's no switch that takes them back to the bridge track; I was just wondering why it went down 8th Avenue, since it says that they ran local, but then I forgot about the trains already on the express track.

Due to a train with mechanical problems at Grand St,

Some southbound (B) and (D) trains are via (A) line from 59 St-Columbus Circle to W 4 St-Washington Sq

Some southbound (B) and (D) trains are via (F) W 4 St-Washington Sq to Coney Island-Stillwell Av

Some southbound (B) and (D) trains are via ( F) from W 4 St-Washington Sq to 2 Av and terminating.

Some northbound (D) trains are terminating at 36 St (Bklyn) or Atlantic Av-Barclays Center

Some northbound (B) trains are terminating at Prospect Park

Allow additional travel time.

Let me guess a simple BIE. T/O is checking the train and they still have to do all of the above,

Come on my MTA let's be honest the train is now on the express track somewhere between DeKalb and 36th.

That's quite a cool one -- perils of a loop station, the turnaround is not easy when there's a blockage.

Doesn't really count as subway, but there's no SIR thread for this, so:

Shuttle bus service is operating between Pleasant Plains and Tottenville in both directions.

This was gonna happen sooner or later, but at Tottenville? Hope everybody is okay.

How was this gonna happen sooner or later? And by the way, the train overshot the bumper block.

Just referring to how shaky the cars are and how it feels like they were going to derail at any second, although it could just be the car body shaking. If it was only an overshoot then I take it back then.
