Hi All,

Back in January of 2019, I was called back for Exam 6600. My application process was put on hold for Moving Violation tickets. I was told to clear the tickets and come back to complete the hiring process. While clearing the tickets I ran into a little trouble. I now fighting a 1st offense DWI case and I wanted to know would this stop me from moving forward with the hiring process?

Do you need a dispisition if you had a. Feloney non violent 20 years ago.

Yes. Definitely. You need dispositions for every criminal conviction you have ever had. Except for maybe sealed youthful offender. But just to be sure I would double check on that. I have been assured that they do not hold it against you as long as it's not an open pending case and if there is a good length of time between convictions, and the last conviction till date of hire. In New York state, 10 years since last conviction will hopefully keep one in the safe Zone.

If you have a certificate of relief or certificate of good conduct bring that along with your disposition.

maybe someone had a similar experience. hoping someone can give some advice

I was called in for the pre screening interviews about a month ago and they said i couldn't move forward because i had a traffic violation. (i thought it'd be okay because i had a hearing scheduled.) Lady at the time told me I should take care of it and come back with the paper from the hearing saying it was done. Hired a lawyer, got the DMV to move my hearing up to today and got the violation taken care of. I called right after and the lady on the phone is saying they're past my number and I have to restart with DCAS!

Is she for real?! They originally told me in the office that I could just come back after I got the violation taken care of. Should I just go in person?
