Via Garibaldi 8 Posted September 13, 2016 Share #2 Posted September 13, 2016 Oooooo..... Ahhhhh.... Where are they going to put ads at with the wrap on the bus?
Missabassie Posted September 13, 2016 Share #3 Posted September 13, 2016 Ads won't be a problem. They just stick 'em on, peel 'em off...
LegoBrickBreaker101 Posted September 13, 2016 Share #4 Posted September 13, 2016 I'm guessing those are the same signs as the ones on the 2011 XD40s? I honestly would have preferred it if these have Luminators... but damn, can't believe these are going to be running right outside my house. Great pic! Around the Horn Posted September 13, 2016 Share #5 Posted September 13, 2016 That paint scheme is gorgeous! A vast improvement over the old one.

MTA apparently doesn't like the spectrums.
LegoBrickBreaker101 Posted September 14, 2016 Share #7 Posted September 14, 2016 Multicolored Hanovers. MTA apparently doesn't like the spectrums. Yeah I know. I personally think the Hanovers don't look that great, and I seriously hope the MTA reconsiders the multicolored Luminator signs.
Around the Horn Posted September 14, 2016 Share #8 Posted September 14, 2016 Yeah I know. I personally think the Hanovers don't look that great, and I seriously hope the MTA reconsiders the multicolored Luminator signs. I like the multicolor Axions that use the Spectrum font (which I think is much more pleasing on the eyes)
Rick44 Posted September 14, 2016 Share #9 Posted September 14, 2016 Seeing how 4810's sign is, I'm a bit worried of how the darker shades will show on these signs. It's pretty dim on 4810.

Nice pic!
Cait Sith Posted September 14, 2016 Share #11 Posted September 14, 2016 Yeah I know. I personally think the Hanovers don't look that great, and I seriously hope the MTA reconsiders the multicolored Luminator signs. Don't count on it. The signs have been performing very poorly. East New York Posted September 14, 2016 Share #12 Posted September 14, 2016 Multicolored Hanovers. MTA apparently doesn't like the spectrums. It's not that they don't like them because they do. They are not pleased with the performance on the models that come on the Xcelsior. MTA still has an agreement with Luminator to replace signs as they fail. Thats why some C40's now have Spectrums. I like the multicolor Axions that use the Spectrum font (which I think is much more pleasing on the eyes) Axion of course was out of the question for this order as it is a division of Luminator, and thats actually Titan Font on the Spectrums. BM5 via Woodhaven Posted September 14, 2016 Share #13 Posted September 14, 2016 Have they ever thought about using white on the destination sign, kinda like what some WMATA and some Fairfax Connector buses use.
