1. I qualified on day 7

Day 7 is first road test.  If you don’t pass on day 7 you go to day 8 for training again and then day 9 is next test day, then if you don’t make it on day 9 you go to day 10 which is the last try.  Very few people make it on day 10 because it’s harder with 2 instructors.  Some give up and don’t show up.

If you’re Mta bus you can’t pick ENY. That’s a T/A depot. Closest would be Baisley or College Point. I’m at College Point. Lots of over and the supervision doesn’t hassle us. Take a while to move up in seniority however.

I’m OA/MBSTOA.  East NY Depot was the first to be gone.  I did not want to go there even though I live close to it.  I picked Grand Ave.

Well is like... they ask if you snore? ....And maybe I'm a bit overweight...lol 😆 but I spoke to a guy that works at MTA he said is a thing that Drivers go to now... @Phoenix basically you need to go to a specialist to determine, if you fall in the chart... normal, mild or severe  or over -I don't know-. Just don't sleep while driving a bus 😅

@andy1. I haven’t been called yet. Would it be a good idea if I did a sleep study prior to being called. Just in case they ask for it? Just wondering, because I never went through this process. Not sure what the physical consists of.

For a Sleep test ....nope. Their doctor will have to determine that and will give you a slip of what they looking for. Is just time consuming yes, but go with what they tell you.

Physical consist in Electrocardiogram, vision and hearing. So get those glasses check.

Also I'm on "Medical Hold" until I pass.

Hopefully you can get the sleep apnea test done quickly. It shouldn’t set you back that long. Also, I wear glasses. Will that be an issue for me?

I use corrective lenses and I pass their vision test. If you feel you need better ones then do so.

So will they send you to a doctor or will you have to find your own? Becoz if you know when the medical is, you couldn’t do it before hand and give them a clearance letter?
