Rick44 Posted September 11, 2012 Share #4004 Posted September 11, 2012 I think that it's safe to say Mr. Railfan has passed his Guess The Location post to someone else. With that said, I will take the liberty of posting a new GTL. This one is very special. It's the first GTL video. Should be easy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xy167wbJI00

Donald Posted September 17, 2012 Share #4015 Posted September 17, 2012 Since when does West 4 St. have blue tile? West 4. has green tile! I'm going with Broadway Lafayette St.

TheSubwayStation Posted September 17, 2012 Share #4017 Posted September 17, 2012 Chambers Street on a G.O I don't think so, since this shot would've had to be taken from the WTC platform. Since the WTC platform is starts at the downtown end of the Chambers St platform, this train wouldn't have been going this fast when the shot was taken. It would almost have been coming to a stop. I can't think of anywhere else that this could besides Broadway-Lafayette.
GojiMet86 Posted September 17, 2012 Share #4018 Posted September 17, 2012 It looks like B'Way Lafayette, because it's having that connection being built.
TheSubwayStation Posted September 17, 2012 Share #4019 Posted September 17, 2012 It looks like B'Way Lafayette, because it's having that connection being built. Not only that, but where else is there a renovated IND station with a blue stripe, shiny floor tiles, two island platforms and no "59" text? And, I explained why I don't think it could be Chambers St. EDIT: I think Canal could be possible, but it's less likely than Bway-Lafayette which is actually on the regular line. And I'm pretty sure that the wall tiles at Canal look a little different.
Vistausss Posted September 20, 2012 Share #4020 Posted September 20, 2012 It does look like Lafayette indeed, but it also looks like Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center so I'm going with that one.
Quill Depot Posted September 20, 2012 Share #4021 Posted September 20, 2012 B'way Lafayette is correct, TSS go or pass
TheSubwayStation Posted September 20, 2012 Share #4022 Posted September 20, 2012 It does look like Lafayette indeed, but it also looks like Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center so I'm going with that one. Remember that Atlantic Av doesn't have the blue IND-style stripe because it's a BMT platform. B'way Lafayette is correct, TSS go or pass I pass.
