I'm going to start fanning again since its been awhile since I took photos and videos of the trains and buses.

Here's my question

Would like to know whats the best things/areas/portions to railfan on the following lines: (A)(C)(D)(F)(J)(M)(N)(R)(Z)(1)(6)<6>(7)<7>

Help will be appreciated. It's been atleast almost a month since I did some fanning.

(A) the ride out down towards broad channel is a great ride.

(C) im never usually on it more than 2-3 stops, because its 8 cars, really any stop is a good photo stop.

(D) The express segment along 4th avenue was fun to ride.

(F) The Queens Blvd segment is good, im not usually on the (F) or 6th avenue for that matter that often

(J) On weekends go to 111 St to see one of the R42s laid up on the middle track. The curves in cypress hills are fun to ride thru.

(M) Any part is good for photos because of the 8 car sets.

(N) The Astoria line and hte Manhattan bridge segments as well as the sea beach segment are good.

(R) Queens Blvd is your best place for photos

(Z) Same as J

(1) South Ferry has great photo ops

(6) the 4 and 5 are better

(7) I dont have much experience on teh 7
