So if the J/Z is supposed to run 13 sets of R32s (104 cars) and 5 sets of R42s (40 cars), that's 144/160 cars on that line SMEE equipment -- or 18/20 trains. Now, I know that's not yet set in stone, but even now that line is a majority SMEE rolling stock. And considering the headways of the J/Z during rush hour, that's the first time in a good ten years that SMEEs have run on a line in such frequency. Just a random thought.

Not really there's still the (1)(3) and (7), different division but they still run SMEE's in that frequency

#Random if this whole NYPD thing doesn't work out for me I'm definitely perusing a career in the MTA,and if I get the job I'll be posting along the (4) or (5)

I should have specified I was referring to the B Division fleet.

Sometime this summer, I will set out to catch an R32 (J) or even (Z). I just haven't decided yet hell, I might even look for one tomorrow.

Same goes for the R160 (C)

The R32s are running very fequently on the (J) and (Z) there have been more R32s out lately than R42s and R160s , it should take you 5-25 minutes to catch an R32.

Boy! Where have you been? Welcome back to planet earth from your distant planet lol. (yes)

I've been swamped in work. I'm gonna need to read through this thread I guess. I could've sworn I didn't miss anything and then bam R160s on the (C). Ain't that a kick in the head.

Guest Lance

Who's the woman who did the M train announcements and couldn't figure out how to say 'Lafayette'? It's not La-vee-yet, it's La-fay-et.

Catherine Cowdery. And it's not the (M) where that pronunciation is done as such. The recordings on both the (Q) via (D) and (E) via (F) are pronounced the exact same way. And before any wiseguys say that Lafayette can be pronounced as either La-fee-yet or La-fah-yet, that's not the issue. For some reason, she added an unnecessary V in there, changing it to what MHV heard.

Something happened in the past week where my manual pronouncement of Lafayette has changed too. All last pick I was saying "Broadway Laugh-vee-ett" and all of a sudden "Law-vee-ett" started coming out of my mouth. I've always pronounced it DEEEE-Cow-Buh. I've also been saying VON Sick Lynn ever since my A-Division days.

Thank god I've never had a 32/42 on the (J) . I don't know how I'd ever handle that first stop after Myrtle-Broadway......

Kosciuszko St and Hoyt-Schermerhorn are the top 2 stations people mispronounce. And Nereid Av isn't that far behind...
