The only novas in service as we speak are from Coach USA 1103, 1515, 1521, 1537-1538, 1557-1558... BTW I rode 1558 and saw 1557 both on the 24B... Also..... Is this how the novas are getting retired at coach USA? When the 2016 NJT MCI Hybrid D4000CTHs come in, they will retire most of the old MCI Diesels from 2001-2003, but some old MCIs will be moved up to Coach USA to retire all the novas? When I do bus trips from Pittsburgh to Columbus, OH, I drive I-70 and I usually see the new MCI's with NJT Livery on them heading to NJ. Weird that last week I saw 7278-7284 going Eastbound while I was going Westbound. No pics. I was driving the bus with passengers. I think those 7 NABIs (5368-5374)were there until those 8200s came back from Howell. They had to go back to Camden since 6403-6409 were destined to go North anyhow to replace the last of those NOVAs. 5388-5390 were South Jersey buses in the beginning but I think they needed them more in Jersey City. Meadowlands bus. 7813 no longer has it's new Luminator Titan signs, it's now back to flipdots. That makes me wonder if 7757 got its signs removed. busdude2 Posted April 11, 2015 Share #1843 Posted April 11, 2015 All NJT Novas out of service, only a few novas can even possibly be brought back into service, one 1400s and two 1300s. The only novas in service as we speak are from Coach USA 1103, 1515, 1521, 1537-1538, 1557-1558... BTW I rode 1558 and saw 1557 both on the 24B... Also..... Is this how the novas are getting retired at coach USA? When the 2016 NJT MCI Hybrid D4000CTHs come in, they will retire most of the old MCI Diesels from 2001-2003, but some old MCIs will be moved up to Coach USA to retire all the novas? And we get the non restroom hybrids. There 7167-7177 will be sent here(still awaiting confirmation about 7167-7177) That will displace 7401-7407;7410-7418; 8026-8029;8033;7606-7608;8278-8284,7933,7783-7784,7801. I know this might sound crazy. Since greenville does most of the 126 runs why not give them say 10 40ft mci's and send some nabi's else where like to ONE bus to replace the rts's there. As its been beaten to the ground, Coach OWNS their Novas, why are people foaming over the CRAPIs? Anyhow, correct if I'm wrong, but is Greenville garage too short (bus height wise) for a MCI? Well for parking they can be kept outside across the street in their fenced lot. The nabi's have about a foot clearence at the doors on the front side of the building. The gates ave side has a 12 ft + door. As for nabi's they could be sent to any NJT garage if needed then.
