The points at Canal Street (N)(Q)(R) are facing towards the Manhattan bridge.

TIME: Afternoon rush hour

(N)(Q)(R) via Manhattan Bridge ((R) stops at DeKalb Avenue on (B)(Q) tracks then crosses to the Fourth Avenue Local tracks, resuming regular service).

Also, the South Ferry loops are unusable.

TIME: Weekend. Reroute (5)

(5) extends to Flatbush.

Me:

(R) via 6 Avenue Local and Bridge (via 63 street)

(N) Rector Street to Coney Island (transfer to (1) at Rector for City Hall, Canal, and to points north and transfer at 42 street)

(Q) Broadway Local via Bridge.

(5) Trains run to Brooklyn Bridge

Me: Please be reasonable: Due to a severe water problem between 21 st- Alst and Church Avenue, reroute the (F) and (G)

Also the sixth Avenue Local tracks at W4 in Both directions continue to 6 Avenue Express tracks

(N) and (Q) run normal service.

(J) terminates at Chambers Street.

Old "Brown (R) " is revived and runs Chambers Street (J) station-95th Street (NOTE: ONLY first five cars open at Manhattan stations).

If this is not possible, (R) operates from Court Street or Jay Street-Metrotech to 95th Street ONLY and (J) runs normal.

Scenario 2:

(5) runs local with (6) 125th Street-Brooklyn Bridge, where it terminates.

Man I should have thought of that. Though I'd just keep it on the express tracks until the crossover north of Brooklyn Bridge and also schedule that route and the (6) to arrive and leave at the same time at 42nd or 14th.

NEXT: At Jay-MetroTech southbound trains are set to Culver. Reroute what needs to be.

So that also means that (F) trains can't get through going south...ok, let's see..

(A)...207 to Jay St, Bway Junction to Queens via local

(C)...168 St to 2 Av (don't want it to be in the way)

(F)...northbound normal, southbound via Crosstown

For Jay St to Bway Junction, take the B25

Fire in an electrical room at 125 st along the Lex knocks all power from south of 125 St to south of both 138 St stations. Fix in time for the afternoon rush

NEXT: At Jay-MetroTech southbound trains are set to Culver. Reroute what needs to be.

This is going to be tricky (it assumes service is back to normal on the Rockaway Branch AND the (C) is all R-32s), and assumes all (A) trains have to go to Culver from Jay Street:

:

(A) runs as follows:

207th Street, Manhattan-Church Avenue, Brooklyn (Via (F) / (G) from Jay Street-Church Avenue)

Hoyt-Schermerhorn Street, Brooklyn-Lefferts Boulevard, Queens via express to Utica Avenue southbound, local northbound

NOTE: Lafayette Avenue Station is closed, for that station, take (G) from Hoyt-Schermerhorn to nearby Fulton Street station, for other local stations between Hoyt-Schermehorn and Utica Avenue southbound:

If traveling to those stations southbound, take southbound express to Utica Avenue and change for northbound local service.

If travening from those stations southbound, take northbound local to Hoyt-Schermerhorn and change to southbound train there.

Special (S) service operates between Broadway Junction, Brooklyn and Far Rockaway OR Rockaway Park, Queens via (A) Express (the regular (S) between Broad Channel and Rockaway Park is suspended during this time).

(Note: All of the above would be much more simple if you can temporarily close the Transit Museum platform so that trains can use the normally-empty local tracks Hoyt-Schermorn and turn at the TM station (after emptying to Hoyt-Schermerhorn first).

(C) operates via the (M) and then (J) between West 4th Street and the Broadway Junction (J) platform. Manhattan riders (Broadway-Lafayette northward) looking for stations south of Jay Street on the (A) are asked to take the (C) to the Broadway Junction (J) station OR if at 14th street, the (L) to Broadway Junction and in any case transfer there for (A) or special (S) service and vice versa to Manhattan. Lower Manhattan riders are asked to take the (J) to Broadway Junction (or (C) if at Essex-Delancey) and change there for the (A).

Shuttle bus operates between Jay Street and Hoyt-Schermerhorn.

If south of 3 Av-138 on the (6) means that trains can be reversed just after 3 Av-138, then (6) suspended between 86 St and 3 Av-138. Otherwise (6) suspended between 86 St and Hunts Point Avenue. In the latter case, a shuttle is running between Hunts Point Avenue and 3 Av-138.

(4) suspended between 149-Grand Concourse and 86 St, (5) via 7 Av.

Next scenario is a reverse of the last one I posted: the (N)(Q) platform at Canal Street is impassable.

Also, Myrtle Avenue (J)(M)(Z) to Broadway Junction is closed off due to track work.

Northbound (N)(Q) trains run via (R) from Atlantic Av-Barclay Center to Canal St.

(J)(Z): (Z) service suspended and skip-stop service suspend.

(J) runs between Jamaica Center and Broadway Junction.

(M): Runs in 2 sections.

1. Between Forest Hills and Myrtle Av-Broadway via local.

2. Between Myrtle Av-Broadway and Metropolitan Av-Middle Village.

Free shuttle buses operate between Broadway Junction and Myrtle Av-Broadway station.

You forgot to reroute (N)(Q) in Astoria-Midtown side as well.

Oh sorry. Didn't relize the collapsing of the Bridge had anything to do with the tunnel. But I guess:

(N) two sections: Queensboro Plaza-Astoria/Ditmars & Lex Av-Coney Island. (via Whitehall)

(Q) 57 St-7 Av--Coney Island (via Local in Manhattan)

(R) via 63 Street. (Align with (F) to provide a Queens Blvd Local service varient on 63 Street)

I mixed feeling about this because the tunnel has nothing to do with tunnel but I guess if debris hit the riverfloor, this could be possible as well.

Next due to Manhattan, Williamsburg and Queensboro Bridge collasped, (B)(D)(J)(M)(N)(Q)(Z) cannot cross the bridge.

Also reroute B39, Q32, Q60, Q101 and QM Express buses.

Supposing this is long term:

(B) trains run from 145th or Bronx to West 4th.

(D) trains run from 205th to Coney Island, (turning on to the local tracks before 34 and then via Culver)

(F) trains run from 179th to W4 via 6th Ave Exp

(V) trains assigned from 71st to 2nd Avenue

(J) train run in two sections, Jamaica to Marcy Avenue, not skip stop and Essex to Coney Island via West End, 4th Avenue Express (7 TPH).

No (Z) trains

(M) trains run from Metro Avenue to Marcy

(N) trains run via tunnel (7 TPH)

(Q) trains run as follows: 7TPH of trains shortturn at 34th, other 7 TPH go thru tunnel and Brighton.

(R) trains run with (7 TPH)

Express buses via tunnel

Q32 via 21st Street and then tunnel to 34th

Q60 and Q101 buses end at QB-plaza.
