Metro CSW Posted December 13, 2011 Share #7 Posted December 13, 2011 It will be a beautiful site when C40LF runs the B35, B63, B68 and B103. Love this soo much. I APPROVE :tup::tup::tup::tup::tup::tup::tup::tup::tup:
Future ENY OP Posted December 13, 2011 Share #8 Posted December 13, 2011 So MTA wants Spring Creek to be all CNG... Nice, cant wait to see these on the 100/103. So that means by mid 2012, most of the hybrids may be gone..
Acela Express Posted December 13, 2011 Share #9 Posted December 13, 2011 Thanks for the update, Trev. But, where are they displacing the older C40 models from Jackie Gleason? I'm sure it'll be somewhere in MTABC, but where?
trainfan22 Posted December 13, 2011 Share #10 Posted December 13, 2011 Wow, JG will get 171 new buses straight though.... I'm not even gonna bother looking for these buses on JG routes while I'm fanning.... might as well enjoy the loaner RTSs, V CNGs, and 800 - 989 while there still here.... BZGuy Posted December 13, 2011 Share #11 Posted December 13, 2011 Thanks for the update, Trev. But, where are they displacing the older C40 models from Jackie Gleason? I'm sure it'll be somewhere in MTABC, but where? Money says 20-25 will head to College Point. According to ttmg wiki, CP has 123 O5 CNGs left. They are getting a total of 105 brand new New Flyers, so I'm gonna assume the best of JGs old New Flyers are gonna be checking out Queens pretty soon. Some might also migrate over to West Farms to push out their O5 diesels and RTSs.

dman1455 Posted December 13, 2011 Share #13 Posted December 13, 2011 Thanks for the update, Trev. But, where are they displacing the older C40 models from Jackie Gleason? I'm sure it'll be somewhere in MTABC, but where? I would assume that 800-856 will start retiring while the others will be displaced to other depots. That's my guess. East New York Posted December 14, 2011 Share #15 Posted December 14, 2011 Money says 20-25 will head to College Point. West Farms probably wont get anything other than the new buses. They have just enough assigned to them to replace all their RTS' and Orion V's. College Point is getting 138 new buses. I think you missed one on there. I would assume that 800-856 will start retiring while the others will be displaced to other depots. That's my guess. They are going to be part of the reserve fleet. There are enough New Flyers coming in to wipe out the entire fleets of old C40LF as well as all the Orion V's. So it looks like a great number of them will be hanging out at Eastchester. T J Trainman Posted December 14, 2011 Share #16 Posted December 14, 2011 Who ever asked about the Q-38 going to LGA the answer is no. However, it is "in the cards" What ever that means.
