I don't mention LIBRU on NICEBus's email.

FOr instanst, when I reported my situation on n20 on my way to Circus Protest in Middle Island via NICE Bus/Suffolk County, I reported both to NICE Bus and Nassau County Mangano who took seriously.

Mangano took it seriously?-lol.

He did. When I check out two Sundays after my incident, 8:25 n20 Hicksville on Sunday was male driver, not mean nasty female driver who told me no picture of bus long time ago, even thought I don't have camera at that time.

Are you sure it wasn't the result of a pick change?

I don't know what's worse, not being able to drive on Long Island or the transit here.

I must admit, LI is a different world when you have a car.

Your signs at Hicksville are gone, by the way.  I don't think anyone went to those meetings.  LIBRU has done NOTHING and it takes every fiber of my being to not laugh on sight of any of their posters.

I know this site don't welcome LIBRU, so I have move onto Five Borough Transit.

Last March 2013, lots of NICE riders has attended 2013 LIBRU Public Forum to testify against bus service and issues with buses. Long Island Bus Riders Union was created Coalition to Save Long Island Bus (Cindy who was vice-president of Coalition to Save Long Island Bus (she's retired from NICE Bus/TWU Local 252). It had lots of people like People's Public Hearing which properly made by TWU Local 252 worked with LI Bus Riders Union created during Long Island Bus Era.

If you guys please stop mentioning or harassing LIBRU, I will not mention it.

Back to NICE Bus, when I was on 12:15 n20 Hicksville, one passenger who had to take n23, n20 to n27 bus because of changes NICE Bus made. I tried to tell her n23 never went to Hempstead and she missed n27 Hempstead connetion because of construction work on Northern Blvd.

I prefer to take NICE Bus to Nassau County because Nassau has good public library system.

I escorted one of passenger to 100 Duffy Av building (shortcut) b/c that was first LIBRU meeting).

I have been on n87/88 Jones Beach bus and I have seen most bus drivers that they always do drop-off/pick-up in Jones Beach at same time. They usually layover by East Bathhouse with passengers onboard and go directly to Freeport.

Yesterday at Freeport, while I was waiting for 17:30 n19 Babylon to Sunrise Mall, I encountered one angry female passenger who told me that nasty rude driver on n4 Freeport never gave her transfer (she paid by cash) because she need to take n19 bus.

I think she was force to take taxi after reported to one of drivers.

this is what MetroCards are for cash on the bus is obsolete. When will people stop being lazy. Nice even beat NJT to the punch to get smartphone ticketing going and almost everyone except moronic holdouts has a smartphone. Sidenote: last Sunday I was waiting for a N72 that was 10 minutes late a passenger that boarded with me got lucky as if it was on time he would be standing for 25 minutes for the N71 lucky bastard sigh. I know this site don't welcome LIBRU.....

There's a shock....

Outside of the fact that they don't do shit, your prior constant mentioning of these clowns on this forum hasn't exactly helped.....

....so I have move onto Five Borough Transit.

Right, because you want to continue bringing them up.... Elsewhere.

If you guys please stop mentioning or harassing LIBRU, I will not mention it.

Who's harassing them? Nobody would even bother to mention that group on here, if it wasn't for you.....

This isn't a chicken & egg scenario here....

What you really want to say is:

If you guys please stop criticizing LIBRU whenever I mention them, then I won't have to defend them.

Tell it like it is....

Get a job

Today, I took 9:40 n4 Freeport, 11:30 n19 Babylon, then went to investigate Merrick Public Library as part of my volunteer as Citizen Defending Library since n19 got there 11:40, and my best female B/O friend driving 12:40 n51 was long wait, so I walk north on Merrick Av, and I got confused with small red house that marked "Merrick Library." because I only went to Merrick Public Library few years ago. I came to Merrick Public Library, use internet quickly and printed out flier for library canvassing in NYC.

After quick internet use, there was one empty bookshelve at Adult and Children's room, and I quick walk to Merrick Rd. When I got to Merrick Rd/Hewlett Av, one of n51 bus in morning NEVER SHOWED UP. I met with my B/O friend on 12:40 n51. At Merrick Rd, I took 12:45 n35 Westbury because I want to investigate what happening at Westbury Public Library, however male bus driver drop off bus driver's passenger's friend and me at opposite of Westbury Public School on School St.

When I went to Westbury Public Library, librarian told us it was closed. I said thank you and I ask her, "Can you help with NYC Public Libraries?" as I handed out "Aren't libraries democracy?"

I went back to same way and wave to my favorite school bus company First Student, then walk back to Post Av/School St bus stop and I even give lady assisting eldelry man who was using walker. I gave her library flier after I ask if they use library a lot and they said yes." 14:15 n35 Baldwin Harbor left 3 minutes early and stop by at deli, where bus driver's passenger friend went to buy Lemon tea for bus driver and he came back quickly.

I got off at Post Av/Maple Av, and surprising 13:00 n22 Hicksville came ontime, but arrive late at Hicksville Station.

After that I had lunch at Dunkin Donut, and met with LIBRU member who works for Hicksville Federal Ex. After checking on n20 Great Neck and n20L Hicksville, I went to Flushing Library which Eventbride movie "Race to Nowhere" was actually Queensboro Hill Library.

So after she gave me library hour schedule, I went back to n20 bus stop to check, then took Q44 to HHE North for library.

It was due to lack of attendance, movie was finished. Nice Asian librarian was very nice and he went to search to see if there's movie in Brooklyn, NJ, or Long Island and he printed out information for me and I took Q44 to Van Wyck Station for (E) to (6) to (5) for South St Seaport Forum, then after Seaport Forum, I took (J) to (F) for Occupy Wall St's fundraiser, then took last (F) train home to Roosevelt Av for (7) home.

Its Mid NOV where is this bus tracking system?

Still plenty of the older buses don't have the new Clever Devices. When you see more of the cone shaped antennas on top of them and the new system like the 3rd Gens inside you'll know the GPS is coming. I did see a 1700 or 1800 with the cone antenna a little while back but nothing since. The 3Gs have a completely new interface on their systems too and the touchscreen has been moved to next to the farebox, I think the software part is all done and now all they have to do is retrofit the older buses since the old system doesn't even work using GPS.

Clever is probably retrofitting the buses at their factory in Woodbury so if anyone drives past they can see if any NICE buses are parked.

Last night, for Transportation Alternative's Eastern Queens/Nassau Pedistrian/Bicycle Meeting on Bell Blvd, I took late 18:22 n20 Great Neck to City Line, which were 5 minutes late, then walk quickly and did Stop & Shopping, then walk back to City Line where I met my best male driver friend 18:30 n21 Flushing which came after Orion V Green. This bus driver always calls me, "Governor." I got off at Bell Blvd for meeting.

After that meeting, I took 9:30 n20 Hicksville to Great Neck Station, which was only 6 minutes late. When I got there, only 1 person were waiting for bus. Quickly I went to restroom at pizza place, and he almost forgot I was using restroom and locked me out. After that, I went back to bus stop and there was line stretching for last 9:40 n21 Flushing strechting all the way to n25 bus stop.

When we got on bus (same driver who calls me Governor), 9:40 n20 Flushing from Roslyn was busy only 2 seats were open.

Next time you see the driver that calls you Governor, ask him if he knows the Hound.
