Maybe an extension of the (A)? Then again, the (A) is already long enough...

That line would definitely be used, if it runs on Fordham Road & Pelham Parkway. The stations you planned wouldn't necessarily be used as a subway line..not to mention how zig-zagged it is.

just extend the C and terminate it at WTC, and have the E go to euclid

@Cencin No I am not.

How about switching the terminals for the (F) and (G) trains? Have the (F) run to Court Square and have the (G) run to Jamica and pair the (F) with Skip Stop <F> service.

Are you basically renaming the (F) and (G)? This change never happen to the (F) and (G) as the two change their main lines.

No offense, but you're making yourself sound like an idiot...

That's pretty offensive. No point in saying "no offense" right there.

@Javier: Switching the F/G is pointless. You accomplish nothing with it.

A skip stop F wouldn't work because people do take the F within Brooklyn and this would mess that up.

What do you mean? Via 63 St and a connection to Chrystie St.

The V could then also operate via Queens Blvd.

I wonder what the relative depths of the tunnels there are. Depending on what the obstacles and grades are, exercising one option might prevent another. The area around Chrystie Street is quite complex.

or make a connection at Houston St

The question is: would the area have enough space for a tunnel long enough to make this connection? Three short street blocks is a short distance for the kind of operational flexibility I think you're looking for. Would the connecting tunnels be able to weave through the existing tunnels at a grade not too steep for subway service?
