Sometimes the inside latch gets jammed up and may require a lot of work to be fixed. Old days they used to large hammer the outside edge to dislodge the thing but then couldn't get the door to restore to its frame. That required an entire new door assembly which required some of the interior panels to be taken off then returned and usually with paint repair etc etc. Like stated, probably not worth it at this stage.
paulbyron Posted February 28, 2020 Share #503 Posted February 28, 2020 I just saw an 8-car set of R32s ending with 3781 out of service on the northbound express track at 42-PABT. Could they be going into retirement at 207?
