MTA Service Notice

 

Due to inclement weather, (2) train service is suspended between the East 180th Street Station and the Gun Hill Road Station.

 

Due to inclement weather, (5) train service is suspended between the East 180th Street Station and the Eastchester-Dyre Avenue Station.

 

Due to a train with mechanical problems at the 40th Street-Lowery Street Station, (7) train service is suspended between the Flushing-Main Street Station and the Times Square-42nd Street Station in both directions.

 

Due to inclement weather, (A) train service is suspended between the Euclid Avenue Station and the Far Rockaway-Mott Avenue Station in both directions.

Due to mechanical problems, (D) train service is suspended between the 36th Street Station in Brooklyn and the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue Station in both directions at this time.

 

Also, due to inclement weather, (F) train service is suspended between the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue Station and the Jay Street-Metro Tech Station in both directions at this time.

 

Due to signal problems at Carroll Street Station, please expect delays in (G) train service at this time.

 

Due to a train with mechanical problems at the 121st Street Station, there is no (J) train service in both directions between the Jamaica Center-Parsons Boulevard/Archer Avenue Station and the Broad Street Station.

 

 

Due to switch problems at the Canarsie-Rockaway Parkway Station, Manhattan-bound (L) trains are terminating at the Livonia Avenue Station or the Broadway Junction Station.

 

 

There is no (Q) train service between Coney Island-Stilwell Avenue Station and Dekalb Avenue Station in both directions at this time.

 

There is no (N) train service between the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue and the 59th Street Station in both directions at this time.

 

Due to inclement weather, there is no (S) Franklin in both directions between the Franklin Avenue Station and the Prospect Park Station.

 

Railroad Related:

 

Due to inclement weather, there is no SIRTOA service the entire line in both directions between the St George Station and the Tottenville Station.

 

All New Haven Line service is currently suspended in both directions due to switch and equipment failures from the blizzard.

 

On Monday, December 27th Metro-North will operate a regular Sunday schedule on the Hudson, Harlem and New Haven lines due to the blizzard. See a current October 17 timetable or view http://bit.ly/ihfS8c for details on train times.

 

LIRR passenger service remains suspended systemwide due to the blizzard, high winds and drifting snow.

NYC Transit is honoring LIRR tickets for subway service at Penn, Atlantic Terminal and Jamaica. The LIRR is working to clear the snow from the tracks.

I wonder if this is the worst Blizzard there is for 2010? Im guessing Peak Express service is cancelled?

It has been stuck there since 1 am and no sign of when it will be moving...

Seems like weekday service is up. As of 7:12AM

 

Due to inclement weather, (:o train service is suspended between the Bedford Park Boulevard Station and the Brighton Beach Station.

 

Also, due to inclement weather, (M) train service is suspended between the Middle Village-Metropolitan Avenue Station and the Forest Hills-71st Avenue Station.

Acually there are stills some (2) trains heading to 241st, i got a radio on me set to Union port and the IND.

 

Is it just me or is the MTA website down right now?

 

Yeah a slow down ont he servers. Might be the snow kicking in on it :o

I was just about to post that Culver is seeing limited service, but it looks like it's gonna get worse before it gets better.

 

Due to a train w/mechanical problems at 33rd Street-Rawson Street, (7) train service is suspended between Flushing-Main Street and Times Square-42nd Street.

Very nice! but there sending the (N)(D) and (Q) to 95 St tho, can u add that?

 

Oh they are? The site said they were suspended between 36th/59th and Coney Island so I just assumed that's where they terminated. Why would they send them all the way down to 95th though? Wouldn't that cause delays when the (D)(N) merge with the (R)?

The entire system has gone to hell and you're worried about the <5> and <6>?

 

Actually i also asked if Peak Express service was running, but after hearing <5>s getting cut to Dyre then its gotta be a no. <6> must be cut and <7> too

 

Besides he was asking if service on the Peak express was cut, u could of at least answered if you know or not... But then again maybe hes asking to update that map above lol
