I meant to report that this morning. 

I know 5489 didn’t leave out yet. It was on the 79SBS this morning. However, I think 5490, 5491 are next to move.

Flatbush collectively now has 5439-5443, 5483-5488.

This is no longer looking like a short-term deal, as they are also sending 5300s to The Bronx. 10 of those are left at Flatbush.

This is why we wait and see, and not jump to conclusions.

I don’t think 7430 has a chance of returning to service (and if it eventually does, it won’t be in a LONG time).

there's really no point in "repairing" that unit. Transit would be better off buying another xd40 & numbering it 7430.

They did just that with RTS #9656 (destroyed by fire). It became the only 9600-series RTS with padded seats.
