Here's what I have at LI Bus:

CNG ORIONS: 191, CNG ORIONS NG: 138, TOTAL: 319.

CNG ORIONS: 133, CNG ORIONS NG: 98, TOTAL: 231. OUT OF SERVICE: CNG ORIONS: 4.

1998-1999 EX-MTA BUS CNG ORIONS: 714, 716, 718, 720, 721, 724, 729, 739, 741, 7215-7216, 7218-7219, 9840, 9857, 9862-9863, 9874, 9883, 9908, 9912, 9921-9924, 9926, 9931, 9952, 9991.

Alrighty guys check this out , 9505 @ ulmer park from ech storage , & 8934 at ulmer park from ech , talk about a move ! Gonna get pictures later if i see them again .

 

Well I just got off bus 8934 on the Bx23 over an hour ago. It had all the ECH depot stickers in the same place they were the last time I saw it.

Since when that bus got moved to queens?..

Is 6846 & 6847 still in ENY or those at CS also.

Last time I checked that bus is still on ENY roster.

 

 

*actually i know for sure 6847 is still at Eny becuase that was there first decal scheme bus ,

6845 i know for sure is from casey depot b.cause i rode the bus on the 103 today on the side w. the door i dont think it had a depot sticker so when i got off the bus, curiously i ran to the drivers side to see if there were any depot sticker & thats what i say, when i was at eny depot i didnt see it , i asked and was told it not here , i didnt ask any future questions tho

wat made me realize is when i look at the bus number i wanted to kno why s.c had 68xx's

6845 is a ENY bus.. (ENY has up to 6847)

Saw that bus also this AM in canarsie, and does have ENY decals.

 

negative its a queens bus

 

Um...POSITIVE it's a Brooklyn bus.

 

East New York got #6790-6847

Casey Stengel got #6848-6905

 

That's 116 buses split evenly (58) amongest both depots. I saw #6845-6847 personally in Downtown Brooklyn BRAND NEW (Including new bus smell)

Casey Stengel got #6848-6905

 

That's 116 buses split evenly (58) amongest both depots. I saw #6845-6847 personally in Downtown Brooklyn BRAND NEW (Including new bus smell)

 

new bus smell these buses pushing 5 years, lol

but yu got it , im just human not always right

I know my eyes weren't deceiving me.. Good lookin ray.

I usually spot that bus either on the B12/14/17. Believe it or not, it was still in ENY as of 2 weeks ago on the 17 during the evening rush hour.

The whole reason they had the RTS' is because there are 20+ CNG O5's on loan to Nassau county.

I meant CNG buses in general. Take them from WF or such and give the other depot the RTSs. Depending on how long the LI Bus situation is, JG would be better off getting maybe WF's O7s and when WF gets their share of the NFs, then send those RTSs over to LGA.

 

Then again, nm. Too many moves. Point is I still think it looks strange seeing RTSs on the JG routes-in service [non school trippers].

loaner Hybrids to SC? why not use the C40s they have? :confused:

 

All this time, and they still haven't been used in service? What a waste... and if they need them for training, then wouldn't 1-2 be enough?
