2215, 2216, 2225,2226 others went back to Yukon. 2225 out of service because i had it yesterday and dam tag lock wasnt working. Tag wheels wobbled across VZ bridge until i got them to lock with the switch!

Rode 2413 on the X1 this afternoon. The smell of newness was in the air. The bus had no tags on it and the display was working. But i love the old Stop requested sign.

Um...so basically what NEW moves are you posting besides #3717 at JFK? Everything else has been there for months now. On that note, read this:

 

#3640 at JFK with NO LOGOS. Was spotted on the Q40. #5772 is at West Farms Depot...chillin. Couldn't tell if the bus had W.F. Logos on it. By the way, I'm posting this while bouncing....I mean riding in #671 on the Q44 LTD! UGH!

If you are in Queens and see NovaBus RTS-06 #9190... GET ON IT!!! That bus finished me off for the night and I didn't even ride it. I saw this b us on the Q17 on Merrick Blvd heading to the depot. On take-off, the engine does not shift. Go to my YouTube page and listen to sound clip: NovaBus RTS-06 #9054 and listen from about the 1:45 mark. #9190 is nothing BUT that. Ride it before they fix it. Happy Hunting!!!

These ARE ONLY BORROWS, JFK has been Borrowing Buses From LGA and BP because their short and their 5900's are done, they are planned to get ether the renumbered Orion V's (6000s if the mat keeps them) or Hybirds from SC when SC gets their New CNG's

The part with 3716 that is old. I saw 3717 on Sunday at LGA. and now its at JFK? Good riddance. That is not returning. The same for 3640 (No logos) yeah that one aint coming back. I would not be suprised if 3641 is also at JFK. * DO NOT be suprised if 3718 and 3719 make their way over to JFK as well* Also, *expect the same for 3740/3741 to go to FR for the Q-21 LTD* just my opinion.

Doesnt have a lockup you mean , 9429 is like that & 9397 . No 2nd lock up at all but they sound good .

Well, let's see. You SHOULD already know BUT it's worth mentioning. JFK is replacing their Orion 05.501 buses by having (or in some cases BORROWING) Hybrids from other depots. When I was in the city this past Tuesday, every Orion 05.501 I saw from JFK was about to "drop-dead". Also, there's a shortage of buses since the D.O.B. is retiring buses too fast (in my opinion). Once these NEW bus orders start rolling in, you will start to see a major shake-up.

 

Besides, it's LaGuardia and I think the MTA would want to keep the Hybrids around MUCH longer than let's say a 1996 NovaBus?
