overclocked Posted November 3, 2011 Share #4 Posted November 3, 2011 Some of the things I would like to see in R"onemillion" Smooth/Polished stainless steel body, similar to one found on R44-R68/A Near whisper quiet propulsion, motors and A/Cs Larger front route sign, maybe an LCD to display all colors Dream of a railfan; 2/3rd of a cabin, the rest is a railfan window, which is located where currently the flag and (NYCT) logo is. The cabin door slides to the right. The rest is similar to the current NTTs

Sam Posted November 5, 2011 Share #13 Posted November 5, 2011 I would want an American manufacturer to produce new cars. We would put Americans back to work and our track record for longevity is second-to-none. The only specs I have are R32s still going strong!

Threxx Posted August 27, 2012 Share #21 Posted August 27, 2012 Sorry for the bump, but this looks interesting, I'll give it a go: R234: 75 foot cars, will replace the R68/A's. Built by Bombardier. MITRAC Propulsion. FIND 2 stop information display, which can be remotely altered to display any unplanned G.O. Same seating arrangement as the R68/A's, for comfort and as a tribute to the cars it's retiring. Same floor style as the R160, but slightly lighter. Blue NTT seats. FIVE doors in B cars, 4 doors in A cars for faster entry/exit and more standing room (since people hang out around car doors) 75.80 ft, to accomodate the new fifth door. Fluorescent lighting. Normal windows, which have a thin plexiglas covering to prevent scratching. Stainless steel body, which has a covering which repels things like spray paint (it will just run down the side of the wall like on the R160's) That's what I have so far...
