A track fire at DeKalb screwed up yesterday evening, and another track fire this morning at Bedford crippled the whole morning rush (I had to take the instead).

Considering it's the emergency page for severe weather, I'm not surprised. That page is probably only intended to be used in the event of an actual emergency when riders and the media need immediate service information. That's why the main page is sometimes defaulted to the Alerts page during severe weather.

I was referring to the service status box on the left side of the page, that appears blank on my screen.

Service Change Posted: 03/27/2018 7:18AM Some northbound trains are stopping along the line from 96 St to137 St-City College because of a train with mechanical problems at Harlem-148 St. I had to resort to taking the M11 for this. And I think it ate a fare instead of using the transfer.
