Here's the official service advisory from the site:

Service Change  Posted: 10/12/2013  7:26PM

Due to a police investigation at Jay St- MetroTech,:

There is no c.png train service in both directions.

Southbound a.png train service terminate at Chambers St and World Trade Center.

In both directions, a.png train service running from Broadway Junction to Howard Beach.

Southbound f.png train service bypassing Jay St- MetroTech.

Allow additional travel time.

More word salad from the MTA. If service is suspended for a section of the line, say so. I'm getting annoyed by their new posting "language". Also, what happened to kick the (A) off Lefferts Blvd? Here's how it should be posted:

Police investigation at Jay St-MetroTech:

(C) train service is suspended between 168 St and Euclid Av. Use (A) and (D) trains for service.

There is no (A) train service between Chambers St-World Trade Center and Broadway Junction

Coney Island-bound (F) trains are bypassing Jay St-MetroTech.

With the construction going on at 63rd and Lex, that could be very interesting. 57th and 7th could get crowded, too, with the (R) joining the (Q) in terminating there.

Q is terminating at Astoria. Also it seems like there are more unplanned changes this weekend the normal.I wonder if there are posting every little thing that is happening all of a sudden,or if there are just simply more incidents then normal.

Due to a switch problem at 149 St- Grand Concourse, southbound (5) train service via (2) from 149 St- Grand Concourse to Nevins St.

Allow additional travel time.

I don't think this is so true as on my scanner feed it says most (5) trains were turning at E.180th st back to Dyre

It's true. I got on a (5) to Utica at 96th. They made the announcement, as well.

While I rode the (3) home, there was another one that was stalled at Bergen Street. There was also two (2) trains right behind it. So the (3) that I was on was sent express from Nevins to Franklin then resumed regular service. We did made a connection with a (4) but I stayed on my first train the entire time, keeping my seat. I don't even rush anymore anyway. Whichever train that shows up first, I'm keeping my seat and enjoying the ride.
