MysteriousBtrain Posted January 3, 2015 Share #429 Posted January 3, 2015 No, not all of them. And I'm not lying. You can go check your self. Al least half of the R142's on the line are borrowing sets from the . You mean R142As from the are running on the ?

Javier Posted January 3, 2015 Share #433 Posted January 3, 2015 Where city hall loop station? And I never said it was going in the loop. And if you go check right now, I bet you that you are going to find at least 4 sets running on the line.

Some trains are laying up at 125 Street but because it's so jam packed with holiday tourists going to the airport trains are goin down to Brooklyn Bridge. What airport? And what train to Brooklyn Bridge? And what set on the ?!?! The is only running between 125th and Pelham Bay on the line as trains running on the line. The is running *some* additional trains as trains running on the line, with uptown trains making local stops after Grand Central on the line. The is running *some* additional trains as trains, making local stops in Manhattan on the line, and terminating at the Bowling Green station on the line. As for earlier, I only believe you on the crowding, not on seeing trains going all the way to Brooklyn Bridge. Unless that was a or set up as a like an did a while ago while running on the west end , I find it unlikely. Me too, if anything that just makes for more confusion. Imagine a countdown clock saying a local 5 train is approaching and it's displaying 6 instead? MysteriousBtrain Posted January 4, 2015 Share #436 Posted January 4, 2015 Now YOU got ME confused. You're the one saying the is running to Brooklyn Bridge when there is a GO that can't let the enter Manhattan at this time.

MTA Dude Posted January 5, 2015 Share #440 Posted January 5, 2015 What the heck is this G.O. all about? All it looks like is railfan attraction. This doesn't allow much construction to happen either. What is the point of this G.O.? P.S. It is also aggravating Javier.

One of them is closed off, which is the purpose of this G.O.

One of the underwater tubes between 3rd Avenue and 125th Street is out of service, and the City Hall Loop is also out of service. If the loop was in service, we would have probably seen either split service and limited/no service, or the same G.O. with trains turning at Brooklyn Bridge instead. GreatOne2k Posted January 5, 2015 Share #444 Posted January 5, 2015 (edited) Do downtown trains become uptown trains after 5am? It seems SubwayTime doesn't show any uptown trains leaving Bowling Green (downtown trains are still ending there) but they do show extra uptown trains (which are leaving Brooklyn Bridge long before the first downtown arrives there). Usually MTA would send all remaining trains back to Dyre at this time. Edited January 5, 2015 by GreatOne2k

The GO is supposed to be run again next weekend too.
Lance Posted January 5, 2015 Share #447 Posted January 5, 2015 All tubes are being used. If it was loop, , can run local while the express to Grand Central, or extend to Bowling Green. The southbound Harlem River tube between 3 Av-138 St to 125 St was out of service. That's why the downtown 6 trains were also running express between Hunts Point Av and 3 Av. Next weekend, the northbound tube will be closed and Pelham Bay Park-bound trains will run express through Hunts Point Av.

pjbr40 Posted January 6, 2015 Share #449 Posted January 6, 2015 during the ea beach rehab, if a stalled train is on manhattan bound track, what you think the dispatcher resolve this issue? keep in mind the only spare track is used for coney island bound train during th efirst half of project. What your thought?
CenSin Posted January 6, 2015 Share #450 Posted January 6, 2015 As usual, they would use the West End tracks. That's the case unless the trains have already made it to the point where Sea Beach is the only option.
