5443 & 5489 to gun hill from MJQ

358 & 359 to west farms from Jackie Gleason

Finally 5443 gets to move, I wonder if 5440 and 5444 will move too.

Mileage.

Other routes need the service more than the M60.

Less buses needed for the spare factor.

Swapping buses out because of mileage.

Not the reason.

Gun Hill is short.

A significant number of their artics are at the Secaucus facility for work, with some others at Zerega also for work.

Gleason just sent a decent amount to West Farms. Can this be for mileage or West Farms have some C40's being worked on?

If it were for mileage, Jackie Gleason would likely receive C40LFs from West Farms.

BTW, has Jackie Gleason ever had any C40LF from West Farms' original batch (266-319)?

That was not the case, given how there were a number of the Coliseum's C40LF that would have been used for the Bx6 Select which led to 303 to 319 appearing originally with the original version of the Luminator Titan Spectrum sign.

I'm not sure if you understood my question entirely...

There was a plan to have SBS C40's for the Bx6??

To answer that, it's a no. After 265, it went to 320 a long time back (C40s)

Yes, there was a plan for that which got scrapped when the Coliseum ended up using their own group of the XN40 they received out of 673 to 741; 717 to 736 were the standard units used when the Bx6 Select came out before the XN60 articulated coaches came to replace them on the aforementioned line.
