After Far Rockaway Depot opens up those Orion V CNG's at SC will retire right because I thought once SC got all of their C40LF's the Orion's were out the door.

 

there's always the shuttle bus service, and free up some of the RTSs or whatever they have down there to go back to their respective depots.

Oh boy, the foam is about to begin lol, but Im starting to think the wants the BT&E buses to go to various deopts to test them, the XD40 is a new model so they might just have em go anywhere, looks like the MTA is looking at the XD40, but i could be wrong and its just some type of trade, who knows

Yeah, thats what I was saying yesterday too. For all we know, the XD40s could be going on a tour around NYCT, kinda like what they did with the C40LFs.

I take it the nova attics are similar enought that they don't need to take a couple of the lfs from qv to test around the city? Like I said, I'd give it 2 weeks to see if ENY gives those buses to UP or keep them for an extended run. If it means the mta is interested in ordering more xd40s, then it'll be worth it.

Looks like 7007 will be the last Orion 3G I ever ride on a QV route. 12/19/12 I rode it on the Q88.

It looks like the XD40 is on the winning side. I can see XD40's coming to back QV to replace those 1997 RTS's if they win.

The B44 +SBS+ is long overdue and it should be happening as soon as possible.

 

SBS will not happen until the bus lanes are in place and the traffic signal priority system is ready.

Those XD60s are moving in, I understand 4711, 4712, and 4714 are all being registered and should be headed over to KB soon enough. Definitely gotta catch one of those new buses some time soon.

No idea, 4713 will be in service quicker than 4712 or 4714. 4711 unknown, I was told that there was a spec change and maybe 4711-4714 was built like 4710 and maybe the change is after that point. We'll see.
