Some time in June (or or about June 10), 20 Phase I R-32's were shifted from 207 Street to Pitkin and run on the (A):

3394/95

3400/01

3410/11

3442/43

3446/47

3472/73

3484/85

3500/01

3512/13

3586/87

As of July 6, they are still there.

That reduces the 207 Street portion to 202.

Those cars also still run on the (C) as well, they share cars. The (C)'s R46's come from pitkin, it'll be the same with the R32's.

One of the crew members or a “railfan” keeps signing up R32 C trains as Diamond C trains, which reads: “Concourse-8 Av/Fulton” 😑

Report it to dispatch at 168th Street or Euclid Avenue. They should take care of that issue. Hopefully some railfan isn't in possession of the keys needed to change rollsigns.

If they are sending half the R32 fleet to pitkin, it looks like the 33,34,35 and some 3600's would be at pitkin and the other half of the 3600's,37,38,3900's and mixed mated cars would be at 207th from the list of cars that were moved. Notice they were 33,34/3500's.

Pitkin does a better job than 207th, before Jamaica f**ked up the phase 1's. Pitkin took good care of those cars from GOH to 2008. That's why when they returned to 207th they never were the same.

The 33xx-36xx series is coincidental I believe. And yes Jamaica trashed up the R32’s. East New York and Pitkin were the only two yards to maintain those cars. Coney Island without a doubt took care of their R32’s when they had them years ago

There was up to three sets of 42s in service during the PM Rush today.. I believe it's usually only two at most in service during the rush.

Sometimes the new tech needs to be cleaned or inspected. They use those R42’s as they see fit to meet accurate service demands.

There might be something weird going on the (J) ,I saw multiple R143s  and a R160 with folding chairs on the (J) this week.

These trains filling in are in two possibilities: R179s still having problems to be inspected and some R160s are being deep-washed.

Side note: 8649-8652 is at C.I Yard

That set has been at Coney Island since May. And the R179’s slide when it rains. There were quite a few station overruns on the (J) recently even today.

An update:  Due to a higher than normal raft of R-32 failures (heat-related?), 5862-69 were back at Pitkin as of July 29.  On (A) as of August 2 (though 5862-65 was briefly shopped with ills of its own).

The MK R-42's are hanging in there, so far.

Probably hvac related, this is why they should have never left the (J). The (C) could have went mostly tech and the (A) could have used the other half of the R32 fleet.
