BCan someone recommend me to a sleep specialist in the NYC, Brooklyn and where area. I was put on medical hold because I stated that my son said that I snored.  Like O.M.G why did I say that. Now I have to go into my pocket.

Someone from the 4600 thread mentioned this person, whom you might want to check out. Normally when it comes to this stuff you have to go to your primary care physician, go get the study and then go back to your physician for the result. However, from what I read, if you go there you can bypass your primary care physician, and, when you wake up the next morning, they can tell you if you have sleep apnea or not. Other people have brought paperwork from there to MAC and it worked out fine.

If all goes well, correct.

Omg. I feel like she would have caught me on the hearing exam instead of that. I swear I thought I was probably hearing things, maybe I was making things up. And at one point, I went blank, I think I was not hearing anything. Crazy.

I going through that link you sent for the #.

As far as the hearing, I just closed my eyes, that's all. If I pressed the "button" when there was no sound at all, I don't think that negatively affected the score.

As far as the link, the 4600 thread is over 260 pages, therefore here is the information which can be found either on pages 198 or 199. It was posted on June 8th, 2017 by @frankblk:

My apologies about the "mishap" with the URL link. I didn't realize it until I tried clicking on it as a 'guest' and I realized then that it didn't work.

It was my very first time doing the medical.  I spoke to someone and that is what they said to do. I feel so disappointed at myself today. I was so nervous, I sent my pressure up. I really was looking for to have possible being in the 11/11 class.

You basically sit in a soundproof booth not unlike the ones used in studio work. You're isolated from outside noise. Next, you're going to wear a pair of headphones. They're going to tell you to listen for a beep and press a button whenever you do. The beeps range in volume and frequency so you'll have to just relax and listen closely.

Just like a regular eye test, with or without glasses.

Ok, so do you look at a standard eye chart and they ask you to read a line off the eye chart? Or, is it looking into an eye machine with a scope along with a color blind test?

Yes look in and read what you see. If you wear glasses you will do it with your glasses on.

Hi guys I just got the email and the call for pre employment. I moved out the state and I am not ready to accept this position yet. I also have about 8 points on my license I read I need three years for it to clear. Do I need to do anything to be put on the list for later on? Possible after three years so I don’t lose my spot?

Thanks for the input. I have a feeling I may have 2 pre employment dates as well.  I will have to get a copy of it. Also I have a disposition letter pertaining to something that happen over 10 years ago. No conviction but it was an arrest.

Thirteen (13) hours? What was the holdup? And this was all just to take a drug test, a.k.a. urinate in a cup? Jeez...

If you read the Notice of Examination, towards the bottom of the first page it says "There are no formal education or experience requirements for this exam," therefore the answer is no.

In addition, as a friendly reminder, your list number is in the 1500's, right?
