Mysterious2train Posted July 5, 2010 Share #7 Posted July 5, 2010 It'd be easier to list the buses I did get to ride, the B37 and B75. I wanted to ride... B64 from 4 Av/86 St to Coney Island, Bx55 [on the weekend], Q75, Q89, M6, B39, B51, S67, BxM7B, X29, X37, X38, the M15 to City Hall the B48 to Lefferts Gardens, the B4 via Neptune Av, and the B8 to 95th St [i'm not riding at midnight just to go to 95th St, I never rode the bus beyond 86th St/18th Av anyway.] I did ride the M27 and M1 from South Ferry exactly once, but not recently.... Unfortunately, the B64 no longer exists. This psuedo-route calling itself the B64 runs from Shore Rd/MacKay Place [the B1's former's termina;] to the B3's terminus in Bath Beach. But we all know that is not the B64. The same B64 that... that... [starts crying] connected the neighborhoods of *sneezes and blows nose* Bay Ridge and Coney Island *sobs* It is some poser, a faker whose only purpose is to serve Bay Ridge Av know that the doesn't stop there anymore. The B64 I will miss most of all [salutes] It's funny isn't it. 8 years ago from Bay Parkway/Bath Av you had to take the B64 to Coney Island, than the B64 and B82, and now the B82 only. Why?!?! *starts crying*

B35 via Church Posted July 5, 2010 Share #9 Posted July 5, 2010 Brooklyn:X27/X28 on Weekend X29 Staten Island S67, X6, X13, X16, X17, X28 1) I could understand if you said the x37/38.... but you can still board the x27/28... the routing on those routes hasn't changed; like what's the difference if you've never taken them on a weekend? ...and didn't you say you were gonna try out the "x29"... lol... (I have it in quotes for a reason) 2) as was said, the 17a/c/j are still around... routing hasn't changed on any of the 3 branches either.... I took it once and it was better than my dealings with QM15. Plus Viking, I wish I film it and put it up here, plus I have Journalist qualifications. hoodciti Posted July 7, 2010 Share #15 Posted July 7, 2010 I took my daily (Bx5) all the way up to Pelham Bay. took the new routing this weekend it does add another 10 minutes to the trip and Its stop at Pelham bay needs to be moved the bus circles pelham bay station to travel down Westchester ave. Why not just have the (Bx5) stop at the old (Bx14) stop.... and i took the (Bx25) from Bedford Pk to Bay Plz. it does save a lot of time if you live in section 5 or your going to by Plz. I took the (Bx14) thru Parkchester. took an (M1) on a Saturday.. For a route that has been cut because of lack of ridership it was pretty crowded when i took it. brokecrazy Posted September 5, 2010 Share #25 Posted September 5, 2010 I went out on purpose to ride the NYCTA buses before they disappeared. Only rode portions, though, no time for whole routes. Although riding X32 as an adult had the bus driver asking if I was a supervisor.
