The YUK NGs are loaners at LGA they will be leaving soon. My guess back to YUK.

From what i'm hearing from a friend of mine whose uncle works at Yukon, those are staying at LGA due to Mileage.

Just got a bit of news that I still have to confirm, but I am being told preliminary plans call for 3800-3904 to be converted to diesel, and the newer NG's will be sent back to NYCT. Again, this is unconfirmed, and only preliminary.

 

That actually makes a lot of sense because #3800-3904 are 2008 models and the CURRENT NGs (105) at MTA Bus are 2009-2010 models so IF this happens then it would be a bus-to-bus swap. Now you can just "plug in" the gaps within NYCT. #4019...#4020-4039, #4139, #4140-4169, etc. Hopefully this does happen.

The 4 YUK NGs at LGA are summer loaners. They will leave before the fall pick starts. Also, 4130 was seen on the Q-60 (not by me) it has JFK stickers on it.

Right now: 4129 on the Q10.  JFK is having a hard time in having artics cover the Q10 100%.  I rode 5513 on the Q10 a few weeks ago that broke down.  Saw it only once since then on BusTime.  5712 seems to be a real work horse over there.

 

I wouldn't make any conclusions about bus assignments until after Labor Day since requirements are different all over the place due to schools closed for summer vacation, including MTA properties getting stuff from NYCT properties.  We'll see if there will be more bus assignment suprises starting next week since the G is shutting down 24/7 between Nassau and CSQ.

 

And I have no idea which depots will be covering the G shuttle.

I have a strong feeling that CP will one of the depots covering the shuttle.

It's never just 1 depot. And usually they try to keep everything 100% under NYCT when it comes to subway shuttles but lately MTA Bus (CP & LGA in particular) have been doing shuttle jobs. CP & LGA could very well make it out there.
