Oradell should definitely have all of their 40 foot MCIs replaced by the 22000 white back MCIs and they'll be housed in Oradell garage. Fairview may have their ex-Wayne 9000s replaced by the white backs as well. It's just a guess on my part Now when you say standard floor cruisers, I hope you don’t mean the ones with the low floor center door.

JLiu15 Posted November 19, 2022 Share #3059 Posted November 19, 2022 22107 delivered to ADD. It's currently facing the back fence by I-287, meaning it's yet to be inspected. Interestingly, MTA Prevost 1566 and the Rutgers Science Explorer Blue Bird are also at ADD. 1566 has been there since at least 11/4.
553 Bridgeton Posted November 21, 2022 Share #3060 Posted November 21, 2022 It looks as if Oradell got most of the 22000s, and Westwood the 21000s.

You are right sir. Oradell has strictly 22000s, both white and black backs and the old D4000s. Westwood having some of the 21000 series ( former Meadowlands), 21100 ( some former Meadowlands except the 21190s ) series and 21300 white & black backs

Tranzitfan81 Posted November 27, 2022 Share #3065 Posted November 27, 2022 5334 on the 1??? Not sure why severely short Washington Twp is loaning buses to North Jersey, but this bus has been up there since last Tuesday apparently. As a result of the shortage, there is a domino effect, Washington Twp has to borrow from Newton Avenue to assist with the 400 and 403 while Newton Avenue has been borrowing from Hamilton Twp ( Mercer County). 5509 was on the 413 yesterday and 5539 was down in Camden doing a 453 last week. This week I saw 5578 on the 403 and 5582 and 5585 on the 400. On the MCI side, it seems like more Newton Avenue busses are down the Shore in Atlantic and Cape May Counties ( 17064, 19128, 19131 and 19150).
553 Bridgeton Posted November 27, 2022 Share #3066 Posted November 27, 2022 It’s not washington twp loaning buses it’s the maintenance superintendent’s that make these calls on where buses go.

Wow! Just seems rather strange to pull from the Southern division in which all 3 of our garages are severely short especially Washington Twp and Egg Harbor Twp. Camden going to end up in the same boat soon too if they keep pulling from there.

Newton Av does not use their entire fleet of mcis or Nabis in week they rotate them. Edited November 28, 2022 by 553 Bridgeton
Lawrence St Posted November 28, 2022 Share #3069 Posted November 28, 2022 But sometimes it’s because buses break down in other division which goes to that respective depot and stays there until someone brings it back. i broke down twice on the 319 with my bus (one of the Lav 18’s) and it would always stay down at Wash Twnship for sometimes a week or two until someone brought it back up. On another note, transit really needs to send a replacement bus with a Lav when a bus breaks down on the 319, not a Regular bus.

Westwood got all NJT-liveried buses 21191 and up (plus 21074-21093 loaned from Meadowlands) and the first 10 22000s. Oradell has all 22000s above 22011 except 22039-22069 which went to Fairview.

Lawrence St Posted December 6, 2022 Share #3075 Posted December 6, 2022 (edited) Why are buses all over the dam place in the first place? Seriously, I used to ask my foreman how he knows what buses are ours and what isn't, he just shrugged at me and laughed.
