Princelex Posted November 14, 2011 Share #3 Posted November 14, 2011 Why are certain depots like WF and 126th St getting such a small amount of LFSA's?
Cait Sith Posted November 14, 2011 Share #4 Posted November 14, 2011 Why are certain depots like WF and 126th St getting such a small amount of LFSA's? I think they'll be just about enough to knock off the 1000s for 126. As for West Farms, I think its the same scenario + a few more buses.

I assume those 1200s are back at 126th St by now. MJQ getting those buses MUST be for the M34/M34A SBS. Looks like they will be wrapped up quick! Lastly, I kind of had a feeling that Gun Hill was going to get a good amount.

Depending on how delivery goes. Hope delivery can possibly go fast with all other orders. I say mid-spring 2012 Brooklyn will receive first set of artics. East New York Posted November 14, 2011 Share #10 Posted November 14, 2011 Uhhh we have an Orion V numbered 6005, that's gonna have to be changed Orion V's 6000-6007 should be retired by then Any word on if they took the option order? Would love to see some LFSAs at JFK & BP if they take the option. There is no option on this order. There are 328, and there will be another order which totals 328 as well. This next order is not due to be awarded until 2013 now. Prior to then, the MTA is expected to have ordered both the DE60LFR, and the XD60. I was just thinking the same thing. Dumb question: Is the getting 60 footers from New Flyer and Nova or just Nova?

East New York Posted November 14, 2011 Share #15 Posted November 14, 2011 DAMN! That means that other the C40s, there aren't any new equipment going to Bus. MTAB is also getting new CNG's beyond the C40's. The winner of that award has not been announced yet. In January another award is expected for 459 more 40ft buses. Possibly hybrids. 34 of these buses are allocated for MTAB. Some D60HF's may make it back to MTAB as well seeing as the 72 LFSA's may not be in for a while. I really hope it's for either Daimler (Orion VII E10) or better New Flyer (Xcelsior). **off subject**
