Abba Posted August 7, 2015 Share #3279 Posted August 7, 2015 I really think the delays would have been less by leaving them on Rutgers.

Abba Posted August 12, 2015 Share #3288 Posted August 12, 2015 Here is another example of why it doesn't make sense for the MTA to post some alerts. Just now BIE at Dekalb. However when the Mta posted it it appears the train was on the move just around then.Take a look at this from livetrain.nyc
Lance Posted August 13, 2015 Share #3289 Posted August 13, 2015 Make up your mind. You complain when they don't report service disruptions, but here you are making a fuss on service changes and alerts that are being posted. Sometimes, the disruption may not last as long as expected. Personally, I like being in the know because, even if the problem is cleared earlier than expected, there will still likely be some residual delays.
alekr Posted August 14, 2015 Share #3290 Posted August 14, 2015 Service Change Posted: 08/14/2015 5:35PM Due to a rail condition at Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr, southbound and trains are running express from Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr to Franklin Av. Expect delays on , , , , and train service in both directions. Allow additional travel time. Why the and the being affected? Since both lines doesn't reach into Brooklyn.
Wallyhorse Posted August 15, 2015 Share #3291 Posted August 15, 2015 Why the and the being affected? Since both lines doesn't reach into Brooklyn. Probably because of related delays in say holding up trains at Chambers or Brooklyn Bridge or otherwise because someone forgot to proofread it.

+Young+ Posted August 15, 2015 Share #3293 Posted August 15, 2015 (edited) What is up with these powers issues? My educated guess is the hot weather...bad news for the beach goers. I'm glad that no nostalgia train is running to the Rockaways today - it would have been disaster, especially waiting @ Howard Beach or Broad Channel for the vintage buses... Nope someone stole the damn Power Cables again but unlike last time, it caused the outage on the Entire Rockaways
