Yup the first set to come in..

Which some of those ORIGINALLY started at West Farms when it first opened (#7560-7659). I know a couple of 7500s and #7632, #7636 were among the first. There are pictures...I just don't have any in my collection to back up my statement.

I was informed that Artic 1008 (NOT THE REAL ONE) was seen at Cross Bay Blvd and 157th Ave O/S JFK stickers on it. By any chance does any one know or have 1008s real #? Thanks in advance.

That would actually be 1003, 1003 and 1004 are now at JFK.

And before anyone asks, there is a 1002 sitting in storage.

I guess these 1000-series are the new batch of renumbering... wonder what 1002-1007 are if they exist (definitely 1002-1004 exist)

EDIT: Does anyone know if the other 1000-series have the same font as 1001? (1001 has a strange font that could be seen on some ex-Bee-Line Orion 5s such as 111).

This is pathetic! Why would you renumber these buses into the 1000s...AGAIN! SMFH! They should have just renumbered them into the 1100s (if they were planning on keeping them) and then be done with them. Now all you are going to see on those wiki sites are:

MTA All-time roster:

1000-1004  (I)   1996-1997 New Flyer D60HF

1000-1004 (II)   1999-2000 New Flyer D60HF

Something like that. UGH! I can't wait until those 1000s (II) are retired. 1001 on the Q52, 1003 seen on Cross Bay Blvd. Please.

I see the future LFSA order using 535x and up...

I'm wondering that as well, cause otherwise it makes no sense to renumber like this.

1001-1002, 1011-1012, 1015-1016 at JFK.

1003-1004, 1007-1009, 1014 at FR.

1005 and 1013 in storage.

1004 *1996 bus still at Zerega for training.

Pretty sure a "1017" will pop up anytime soon lol.

Alright, here's the deal with these 1000s that I've managed to get so far:

1001 = 5355

1002 = 5252

1003 = 5431

1004 = 5437

1007 = 5447 (Possible)

1008 = 5475

1009 = 5500

1011 = 5467

5504 is awaiting its new number.
