I know sometimes people ask where a bus is, or mention the fleets possible destination, but that doesn't seem off-topic. What would be considered off-topic in this discussion?

I saw some posts get deleted b/c of asking for a PM.

What I see this topic being used for is to talk about what units are being retired, moved, or entering service.

All of that is fine.

But when someone is asking for a PM or to check messages or making any kind of post that's not contributing to the thread like "ermahgerd so and so buses are coming in fast", those will get removed and some of those posts can be posted in the random thoughts thread. Questions about buses and stuff are fine as long as its related to the topic.

 Ok, got it.

We can pretty much say that 9186 is going to scrap, another fire.

5134 and 5007 are both on the B6 LTD right now as per BusTime. So thats a move from FB to UP.

Got it I'll take care of it soon.

5039 isn't really at Fresh Pond. Spoke to an operator about that.

I might just put it back at UP. I mean it hasn't hit any kind of service at FP, or anywhere else.

Another 98' RTS went to Fresh Pond a few months back from UP (I think it was 2 of them), and it never saw service there - then went back to UP.

7318 new to FB.

5039 did run out of FP on the Q58 I believe, but it's back at UP now.

2185 went to QV for some reason. I assume it was an event.

Still not sure about the grouping (Bee Line O5s and NYCT O5s from four years apart ≠ same buses), but regardless.

I meant 2490-2491, 2493-2511, 2513. It's on the roster as such.

Ok, I'll add 7318 and move 5039 back to UP then.

Our roster's year column is based on model year, as now specified in the key. The model year of the Bees that are currently in service are from 1996.

The NYCT O5's are from 1998 (6000-6003) & 1999 (6004-6349).

They are separated as such on the roster. If you are referring to why the amounts are combined - that's because they are the same make and model. They are Orion V Model 05.501 buses built by Orion Bus Industries. Though they were built in a different year and spec'd slightly different, they are still all Orion V's built by the same company.

Example: If I had 8 Granny Smith Apples picked on March 10th, and I had 6 Granny Smith Apples picked on March 20th, I have 14 Granny Smith Apples. Some were newer than others, but they are all Granny Smith Apples.

If I had 8 Granny Smith Apples picked on March 10th, and I had 6 Macintosh Apples picked on March 20th, then I have 8 Granny Smith Apples and 6 Macintosh Apples. They are two different kinds of apples. Refer to the MCI fleets for a roster example.

I hope that clarifies things. It shouldn't be the biggest deal though.
