Amtrak7 Posted March 1, 2011 Share #8 Posted March 1, 2011 Do these cars have a (partially obstructed) RFW, or no RFW at all? The news camera apparently was able to see the engineer and the tracks ahead with some zoom.

Vistausss Posted March 1, 2011 Share #11 Posted March 1, 2011 Do these cars have a (partially obstructed) RFW, or no RFW at all? The news camera apparently was able to see the engineer and the tracks ahead with some zoom. They have an optional RFW. So if the t/o decides to use the cab full width, then there is no RFW. But if he decides to use only half of the cab, then the RFW is enabled.

lilbluefoxie Posted March 2, 2011 Share #18 Posted March 2, 2011 What line do these M8's run on? because I want to see If I can catch one this weekend... only one line, The New Haven line. Best places to catch em without spending a lot of money is Harlem-125th or Grand Central. Remember though, its only one set of 8 cars so far, so odds are you will see the M2/4/6 sets instead among the other things.
