This also impacted the (E) earlier, but service has since resumed there.

Part Suspended

(J) (Z) service is suspended between Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer and 111 St in both directions.

Limited service between Broadway Junction and 111 St.

What's Happening?

We're addressing a switch problem near Sutphin Blvd-Archer Av-JFK Airport.

Additional Service Changes

Jamaica-bound (J) trains will end at Broadway Junction, Crescent St or 111 St and turn back to provide Broad St-bound service.

Alternatives

LIRR is cross-honoring MetroCard holders between Jamaica and Penn Station/Grand Central Madison.

Between Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer and Cypress Hills, take Q56 buses.

Between Crescent St and Kosciuszko St, take Q24 buses.

In the Bronx, no (2) at Wakefield-241 St

Sep 19, Tuesday, 9:45 AM to 2:00 PM

(2) service runs between Flatbush Av-Brooklyn College and Nereid Av, the last stop.

For Wakefield-241 St, take the Bx39 bus via transfer at Nereid Av.

If you’re making another bus connection during your trip, please ask for a GO ticket from the station agent when exiting at Nereid Av or the bus operator when boarding at Wakefield-241 St.

What's happening?

Monthly signal maintenance

So yeah, part of the 2 is gone.

This is a planned change. They've been doing this for the past few months.

Good chance those types are in these groups and some  people in these groups know exactly who they are...

Its ok though because they can continue to let them wreck the system and have mommy and daddy pay for it with their tax dollars..

Its not like those types will amount to anything anyway maybe in the retail or food service industry..

You assume their mommy and daddy pay tax lol. Mommy and daddy probably sponging off the taxpayers, too.

Until at least 5:40 PM:

No southbound (A) (C) (E) from 50 St to High St.

Southbound (A) (C) running via (D)/(F) from Midtown to Brooklyn.

Take (1) (2) (3) or (J).

Northbound (A) (C) trains have resumed making regular stops from Jay St-MetroTech to W 4 St-Wash Sq.

What's Happening?

We're conducting urgent track maintenance near Fulton St.

There is no southbound train service (including (E) trains) at these stations:

50 St

42 St-Port Authority Bus Terminal

34 St-Penn Station

23 St

14 St

Spring St

Canal St

Chambers St/World Trade Center

Fulton St

High St

Where are trains running instead?

Southbound (A) (C) trains are running on the (D) line from 59 St-Columbus Circle to 34 St-Herald Sq and then on the (F) line to Jay St-MetroTech, where they will resume making regular stops.

Additional Service Changes

Some southbound (C) trains may end at 2 Av on the F to alleviate congestion.

Some northbound (A (C) trains are ending at Jay St-MetroTech and turning back to provide southbound service.

Where should I expect delays?

Expect to wait longer for ‌(A) (C) trains in both directions in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

Expect southbound (A) (C) trains to move at slower speeds going from Midtown Manhattan to downtown Brooklyn while they're rerouted.

Alternatives

We strongly suggest that you take alternatives between Midtown Manhattan and downtown Brooklyn, where trains are rerouted. But consider alternatives in other areas as well to avoid delays.

Manhattan

Between 145 St and Chambers St, take nearby (1) trains (and (2) (3) trains between 96 St and Chambers St).

For Fulton St, take (J) trains to/from Delancey St-Essex St, where (A) (C) trains are rerouted.

Between Manhattan and Brooklyn

Take (R) or (2) (3) trains between Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn to avoid delays. Transfer at 42 St-Bryant Park in Manhattan.

For service between Manhattan and stations east of Broadway Junction, transfer to J trains at Delancey St-Essex St.

Planned Work Reminder

Southbound (E) trains are running on the (F) line from 5 Av/53 St to 2 Av.

Northbound (E) trains are running on the (F) line from 2 Av to W 4 St-Wash Sq.

Delays

We will shortly start rerouting southbound (A) (C) trains via (D) (F) lines from Midtown Manhattan to Brooklyn.

Shortly, we will begin rerouting southbound (A) (C) trains on the (D) line from 59 St-Columbus Circle to 34 St-Herald Sq and then on the (F) line to Jay St-MetroTech.

Add the (D) train to the list, in Brooklyn, and the (N) train only running from Astoria-Ditmars Blvd to 59 St/4 Av.

the (5) train also not looking too good for maintaining service in the Bronx

MTA isn’t updating the website, the countdown clocks is showing trains running when they’re supposed to be suspended, also this is what happens when the MTA doesn’t renovate their stations, they’re spending more money on elevators than on Station renewals

What are you going on about? It may say service is suspended but there are still trains mid way through their runs that they can’t just  go out of service.

Case in point, it says there’s no (R) service anywhere yet one came by at 34th St a few minutes ago.

Also non NTT trains are using Bluetooth to send data so there could an OOS train sitting somewhere that the clocks are picking up saying its coming but it’s not
