Part Suspended There is no train service between 149 St-Grand Concourse and 59 St. There is no train service between 3 Av-138 St and 59 St. Emergency teams are responding to a person who was struck by a train at 86 St and a person who was struck by a train at 103 St. Northbound trains will end at 59 St on the upper level. Southbound trains will end at 149 St-Grand Concourse. Southbound trains will end at 3 Av-138 St. As an alternative between 59 St and 125 St take an M101, M102, or M103 bus. As an alternative between the Bronx and Manhattan: train service: Take M125 buses between 3 Av-138 St and stations along 125th St in Manhattan. train service: Take Bx19 buses between =149 St-Grand Concourse and stations along 145th St in Manhattan. We're running fewer trains because non-MTA agency is conducting work near Jamaica-179 St that is delaying our crews when they turn trains around at that station. Is it just me or does it sound like that non-MTA agency shouldn’t be in the station (unless it’s some sort of field work)? Were they really trying to avoid another 57 St switch issue by not terminating them at Penn Station or turning them around at Chambers St instead? The and if necessary could have terminated at Chambers on that platform as using a pocket track they could switch that way between the express tracks. There’s one of them with his own YouTube channel that even records himself (no mask or hoodie) as he and his group vandalize trains that are parked in storage spots, such as north of 96 St-2 Av, Parson Blvd on the Express track, Bowery abandoned platform, etc. You get the idea. They break into the cabs, turn the trains on, then kick in the windows and spraypaint graffiti all over. To top it all off, some of these people are minors.
