NewFlyer504 Posted December 3, 2014 Share #6 Posted December 3, 2014 Whatever happened to the bus to make it like SEPTA?
QM1to6Ave Posted December 3, 2014 Share #7 Posted December 3, 2014 great pic! These buses still look ugly, though. Is the interior layout any different than the previous batch of them?
Via Garibaldi 8 Posted December 3, 2014 Share #8 Posted December 3, 2014 great pic! These buses still look ugly, though. Is the interior layout any different than the previous batch of them? LOL... Their artics look much better than those 40 footers.
Cait Sith Posted December 3, 2014 Share #9 Posted December 3, 2014 great pic! These buses still look ugly, though. Is the interior layout any different than the previous batch of them? Much different, no more transverse seating! Oh wow what happened to that little window in the back? To make a long story short, SEPTA screwed up, and the MTA had to make a last minute spec change so that SEPTA's order can be up and out of there, streamlining production as a whole. LTA1992 Posted December 3, 2014 Share #10 Posted December 3, 2014 Aside from the non-existent back window, that bus is sexy. Continues to be my favorite model.
Q43LTD Posted December 3, 2014 Share #11 Posted December 3, 2014 I honestly thought QV was gonna get this bus. Anyway, it looks like the love child of an LFS and an NG
QM1to6Ave Posted December 3, 2014 Share #12 Posted December 3, 2014 Much different, no more transverse seating! Thank god! The seating on those buses was so stupid that I actually wrote an email to the MTA complaining, which I rarely ever do.

Lothian Posted December 3, 2014 Share #14 Posted December 3, 2014 Does anyone know what the vents on the engine door are for? They're a MTA exclusive, so I'm curious about this spec change.
Gotham Bus Co. Posted December 4, 2014 Share #15 Posted December 4, 2014 Yeah, I'm wondering where the back window went... That window is the only thing I like about that model.

But couldn't they get the same roof profile? SEPTA's LFS look better than the MTA's
Burrstone Posted December 4, 2014 Share #18 Posted December 4, 2014 I don't know what it is but this is the first NOVA I've liked in years! I don't really follow orders, how fast and when are these expected to roll in? Nice Shots Seven Eleven!
SevenEleven Posted December 6, 2014 Author Share #19 Posted December 6, 2014 Thanks for the comments guys! Does anyone know what the vents on the engine door are for? They're a MTA exclusive, so I'm curious about this spec change. No idea. I don't know what it is but this is the first NOVA I've liked in years! I don't really follow orders, how fast and when are these expected to roll in? Nice Shots Seven Eleven! The contract says February with the Xcelsiors but it may be a bit late because of how late it came in.

O.o Don't compare this design to Orion at all. They don't have the privilege of being flattered anymore.
